I was dropped as a patient because her staff was incompetent and couldn't do their job correctly, and blamed me for their mistakes. As Far as Dr. Macdonald goes, she's not really attentive to your needs and often comes off as not knowing what to do and just repeats failed treatments (that often include a variety of prescriptions, some dangerous to just increase or stop outright) or sends referrals to doctors only if asked or that she feels she can pass you off to. She is really detached and seemingly uninterested in actually helping you find answers and proper treatments.

If you want to be shamed into believing what Macdonald wants you to believe, she’s perfect for you. Otherwise, don’t bother. She blacklisted me with Memorial and Springfield Clinic because I questioned the efficacy of the Covid vax. She and her nurse tried to shame me, even yelling at me, to get me to take the vax. I won’t see a doctor who acts like a thug in order to get her way. She refused to treat me that day. The ER doctor found I had bacterial pneumonia which was caused by the masks. Macdonald had been my doctor for 2 years prior to this.

Her staff is beyond incompetent, while also being incredibly rude and condescending in nature, with the exception of her nurse practitioner Katie Sloman and her nurse Jane, that office and Dr. MacDonald herself are useless. I came to her thinking she would help me and do more than the other worthless doctors I've had the displeasure of having to deal with and not just prescribe me the same medications over and over again, or increasing the dosage and calling it a day, never actually trying to find a solution to my issues. Her staff has also (on several occasions) not cancelled appointments that I had asked to be cancelled and marked me down as a no call/no show for each one resulting in her dropping me as a patient. It's ridiculous. If you want an actual doctor that cares for you as a person and truly wants to help find a solution to any problems, Ashely MacDonald is most certainly not the doctor for that. If you enjoy being thrown prescriptions and never feeling better, she's perfect.

She never refills scripts on time sometimes she doubles your dose, halves your dose or cuts you off cold turkey on dangerous drugs. It's impossible to get an appointment with her and she never consults with patients. Worst doctor I've had in 42 years I wouldn't recommend her for anything esp if your life depends on it.
