List of Jae Kim's Reviews
I have been going to Dr. Kim for years. Had several procedures done by Dr. Kim and I have nothing but excellent service from this doctor he explains everything ask if you have any questions
I've been with Dr. Kim for years. About three years ago I switch to Palos Health from Christ Hospital and changed all of my doctors except Dr. Kim who is affiliated with Christ Hospital. That is how much I think about him. He is very polite and very professional, I am a big heavy man. How I feel and how I am treated affects me in an office environment as I am self conscious about my weight. I feel very comfortable with Dr.Kim and his entire staff. Did I mention that he is a fantastic urologist? Again all of my Doctors are now with Palos Health. At 64 years old I have seemed to have accumulated quite a few doctors; so saying that I choose to stay with Dr.Kim out of Christ hospital is saying something. His office is on Southwest Highway, very convenient, one level nice waiting room. Urological Specialist I give them 5 stars out of 5 stars.
Care and interest about me the patient is outstanding.
Dr Kim was my dr from 2005 I moved away for 15 years came back to area looked dr Kim Up went to see him for my stones did a cystoscope I was so scared I’m so thankful he went over everything with me so kind compassionate showed me X-ray went over it with me thank you so so much dr kim
Dr. Kim is a kind, compassionate doctor.
Dr. Kim is a great doctor. He is patient, asks good questions and listens to his patients. He has helped me to do so much better since I started seeing him.
During the visit, it appeared Kim had not thoroughly read the patient's chart. Kim discussed removing a cancerous kidney, that had previously been removed, 09/2016. The caregiver questioned if Kim had the correct patient's chart. This questioning led Kim to use a highly abrasive, abusive tone and instructed the patient and caregiver to leave his office. He followed them using the same abrasive tone in front of staff and waiting patients. No on should be treated in such an unprofessional way.
Will not be going back. Was having symptoms of sepsis after a procedure with this doctor. Felt as though I was again trying to pass a kidney stone. Was having pain, chills, problems breathing, nausea and called doctor's office. After office staff spoke with Dr. Kim, they called back to say that since my last x-ray showed no signs of kidney stones, he would not be able to see me until I got another CAT scan. Ended up in ICU the next day.
My experience with Dr. Kim was a good one. He was more patient than the other doctors I have dealt with the past three months. He took the time to explain things in detail so I understood what was going on. He has a gentle manner and I would highly recommend him.
Had a lithotripsy performed and within a couple of weeks of stent being removed again had pain of kidney stone. Called office to let them know and included symptoms of nausea, chills, shortness of breath, no appetite and was told doctor would not see me until I obtained another CAT scan. Showed no concern for my condition and offered no advice. Was admitted to ICU the next day for sepsis due to blocked kidney stone. Never felt my health was as important to the staff (or the doctor apparently), as them getting their copays and insurance.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
