I met dr Yanke for the first time and was immediately impressed with his interest and concern about not just the issue that l was there for but also another problem that I had that he also treats! I was so grateful because I had been searching for an entire month for someone to evaluate my shoulder and my knee. Every body was over a month out in their appts and that was 2 different ortho drs. I was glad to have found someone who saw me within 2 days of making the appointment and could treat both conditions. Plus he was super friendly and nice, he greeted me with a smile!

Dr. Yanke is an exceptional surgeon with a caring bedside manner to match. He was the 7th surgeon I saw about patellofemoral arthritis and the only one with the skill and training to treat it. My recovery from partial knee replacement has gone extremely well. His whole team, most notably Marisa Castaneda, are equally fine, prompt, and polite. I would recommend Dr. Yanke highly and with no reservations.

After a terrible experience of total replacement and 2 surgeries on my right shoulder (done by a different Dr)I had an app.with Dr Yanke, He listen all of my questions and told me the options I had to treat both of my shoulders.Dr.Yanke repaired my left shoulder’s rotator cuff 3 months ago and I am healing and regaining strength with the Physical therapy .Dr.Yanke listen and answers all of my questions and takes the time to give a clear answers.I wish I had meet Dr Yanke before my terrible experience with my right shoulder.Great Doctor.

Dr. Yanke operated on me 6 months ago and has been fantastic. He is easy to be with, he listens well and does not display any medical arrogance. I have found him to be thoughtful, and at ease when discussing my degenerative knee issues. Although my surgery has, for the most part, been very successful at alleviating pain, it has not been perfect. I still experience pockets of discomfort and he is intent in listening and understanding my issue, as well as willing to explore multiple avenues to improve on what we have accomplished. Midwest Orthopedics at Rush office is one of the country’s most well known orthopedic practices, there some occasions when it take a bit longer than I would like, he has always been apologetic and respectful of my time. And because of the care I receive from him and his team and the quality of his personal character, I am more than happy to recommend him here.
