He's such an awesome doctor, I feel like I'm finally getting some help after 6 years in pain. He listened to me and answered all of my questions. He even made sure I had enough medicine until I see if my insurance covers it. The nice ladies at the front desk Maria and Yesenia are so welcoming and nice. We had some good laughs before I left.
Had my 1st visit yesterday and I loved it the staff is so welcoming, patient, and very attentive also very sweet Dr. Alshahrour is an amazing obgyn very gentle and understanding and gets down to business fast service in and out and I definitely will be continuing all my baby appointments there as well as dr.Alshahrour will be delivering my beautiful baby in a few months.. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE I GIVE IT 100 STARS
Dr Adeep is awesome, I just googled his name when I was looking for a physician to see my mom, and I just decided to give it a chance, I took my mom to his clinic 5 years ago and I had a lot of anxiety, he was very understanding and helped us so much, gave us all the time to go thoroughly over everything even if his clinic is too busy, never rushed us at all, we were soooo lucky to find him, latter I sent my cousin , sister, friend and as usual every time someone leave his office from my family are assured, no matter how much words I say to thank him, I will never be able to express my gratefulness toward his dedication and kindness as a physician, he is definitely the best, trust me don’t hesitate to see him.
I am very upset & disappointed because of this doctor and his staff I went in there a few times to get help with my heavy periods. I had to call and follow up and see what’s going on I had to call & remind them what needed to be done, I had to call and find out my procedure was canceled, doctor rushed me off the phone and said my staff will make you an appt. I will not be going back l& I definitely I don’t recommend this doctor at all.
My experience with Dr. Alshahrour started on a good note, but ended very badly. At first, he seemed very caring and knowledgeable about what he was doing regarding my prenatal visits. However, throughout the course of my pregnancy I went through special circumstances and have had to leave the country, but I came back at the last trimester of my pregnancy. He saw me again and everything was going okay, until I told him I needed to transfer to another ob/gyn because I had moved to another town and his hospital affiliations were not very convenient for me (I would have to drive abt 2 hours in traffic to get to the hospital he delivers at). So although it was nothing personal against him, and it was seriously just a choice based on whichever nearby hospital was available for me, he took it personally I think. Anyways, long story short, just a week before I transferred from his clinic, I had developed a severe rash and itching, which got me very concerned. He ordered some blood tests for me and this is where things got bad. First, although these were critical tests, they took a veryyy long time to come back (about 5 days) and on top of that, none of his nurses called me back to tell me my tests were abnormal. It was actually me who kept calling them daily about my results. Second, when the results finally came back, the nurse put me on the phone with the Doc and he began to explain them, but when I told him about my transfer, he quickly changed his tone and refused to discuss anything further with me. I kept inquiring and asking him about my condition and whether it was risky and if I should be concerned and he refused to discuss anything with me and seriously just told me to go see someone else. His behavior was completely unethical and he had no right refusing to discuss the tests he made on me or to tell me that my results were abnormal. I quickly went over to his clinic and grabbed my tests and took them to the hospital, and turns out I have cholestatis putting my pregnancy at risk. I am currently scheduled to be induced earlier than my due date and I am very thankful that I was able to catch this and see a real professional. Until my delivery I will be worried, and it's no thanks to Dr. Alshahrour who took a very long time to give me back my results and who actually didn't even tell me about the risk I am in. A doctor who cares more about money than a human life is definitely not a doctor to be trusted. He is completely unworthy of his title, unethical and money greedy.Edit (Update after delivery): In response to the center's response to my review, let me warn other patients and tell them that first of all, in my case, tests shouldn't take that long especially when there's a risk. The hospital I transferred to had to re-do all the tests they made (which came back in 48 hours) and it turns out I was also positive for B-Strep so they knew to give me antibiotics during my delivery, because guess what?! The medical records the center gave me DID NOT SHOW whether I was negative or positive for the culture test even though one of the assistants told me over the phone I tested negative. Thank God the ob/gyn who saw me at the hospital decided to repeat them all. And again, like I said, I knew I had circumstances and I knew it wasn't advisable to switch doctors far in my pregnancy (my situation was tough and I had special circumstances) but that STILL didn't give the doctor the right not to discuss the results with me. After all, he was the one who did the tests, the least he could have done was just explain my results, but he refused. Actions like that speak a lot about a person. If that's the kind of care you trust, go ahead. In any case, I am glad I made the switch, I was induced 2 weeks earlier than my due date because of my condition, and today I have a healthy baby girl all thanks to God and of course doctors who really cared about my pregnancy.
Very bad experience with Dr. Alshahrour at Women’s HealthCare Center Chicago. The bedside manner was horrible, he had assistants in the room that he didn’t introduce, and on top of that he gave me an alarming diagnosis that he didn’t explain. Even suggested that I become pregnant as a way to circumvent heavy bleeding/pain during period (??). I felt really disrespected and also never got my results faxed to my primary doctor or any kind of handout explaining my diagnosis.
This is the staff at Women's Healthcare center of chicago responding to the recent review done by Don Doon, first of all, the women's healthcare center wish the best to all patients. Second, we always advice patients not to switch at the end of pregnancy due to the risk of that nature. Ms Dan Doon was given the best care that can be given to anyone. Her care process needed some tests, that test required seven day for results to come back. she was notified that the test took 7+ days.Any patient has the right to change provider but when the patient changes provider it becomes the responsibility of the new provider to continue the care and it is not adviced for the safety of the patient and the pregnancy that patient jump between doctors. Ms Dan Doon notified us that she changed her provider and she was given a copy of her records. Our practice has been involved in multiple medical and humanitarian missions to the needy. For the patients who have no insurance, it charges the lowest rate in the city of Chicago. Our practice has been given excellent reviews from patients and it will continue to provide the best care to our patients.
Dr Alshahrour is beyond being a good physician! he so respectful of patient time, does not over book, waiting time is less than 10 minutes and he greats you with a smile, remembers every single thing you told him in last visit including your kids names! follow up for you, He even called my cell phone a couple pf time when he got a result of something on a weekend just to give me a peace of mind ! I have three kids and I saw way to many OBGs but I have never experienced one like him, so caring and so knowledgeable. My sister delivered her baby via C-section, the caring was to the max, he stopped by before the Surgery and had a 20 minutes chat with her to ease her mind, answered every possible question, followed up with her every single day until she was discharged. He is always available for questions, very patient and would go the extra mile. I would recommend him to anyone looking for not just a great physician but also a Humane doctor .

All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process.
