It's not often you meet a doctor this invested in not only their practice but their patients as well. Dr. Amin is terrific. Communicates well, listens, keeps current with literature. couldn't ask for more.

I can't send enough thanks to Dr. Amin and his team! Dr. Amin provides extremely thorough exams which resulted in him finding a melanoma on my back. He completed the procedure to remove it within 48hrs and kept me very calm and comfortable throughout. Dr. Amin even called me the night of the procedure to check in to see how I was doing which shows his high level of customer care. I wish I still lived in Chicago so that I could remain his patient! Knowledgable and warm. Highly recommended!

Dr. Amin saved my life. 2 days before I was moving from Chicago to another state he took a biopsy that ended up being melanoma. He called me and told me the results personally and worked me in with his busy schedule to have the margins removed before I left town. He is kind, thorough, and patient and I am so appreciate of him!

Inflates the bill and hardly examined my skin for mole concerns. Very superficial looks. Billed for 45 outpatient even though he saw me for no more than 15 min and no outpatient procedure was done.

Went in for a routine mole check and shampoo refill and he hardly wanted to take a look. Later, I get a bill for a 45-min outpatient. He didn't even see me for 15 minutes. The customer rep told me the clock starts ticking from check-in. But I was waiting in the exam room for 30 minutes! I got the case escalated and when I complained why I wasn't billed with the usual exam code (I've had this same check several times before by another doctor - female and more senior), the office said they will fix it. Lo and behold, weeks later, I get new bill and it was revised to a 25 min outpatient service which still costs much more than an exam. Will not go back for sure and will warn everyone.

My entire experience with Dr. Amin and his team of nurses has been nothing but disappointment. After a cursory set of questions, and without making eye contact even once, I spent fewer than five minutes with Dr. Amin and his nurses combined, none of whom gave me any clear sense of the process for my care. A series of delayed and incorrect communications from his nursing staff resulted in my medications becoming unavailable, and the patronizing I received from his nurses following their mistakes is completely unacceptable. I wasted nearly $200 in copays on something that I will have to repeat from scratch because of the sheer incompetence of this doctor and his nurses.While Dr. Amin has a much more flexible schedule than most other dermatologists in the NW Medicine facility, it is for a very good reason - people know there are friendlier, more knowledgeable, and more capable doctors to available. I am not excited to delay receiving my medication but I will happily wait if it means never encountering this inconsiderate and incapable group again.

Dr Amin and his staff are caring and highly efficient. I could not recommend him strongly enough. He and his staff are consummate medical professionals.

I thought his exam was thorough and I appreciated his recommendations. He will definitely be my regular dermatologist. He makes an excellent impression.
