I met Dr. Yamada on the most terrifying day of my life, the day our family dog attacked our 2 year old. I know Dr. Yamada is a renowned ear reconstructive plastic surgeon, but his art of practice goes far beyond that. The repair on our child's forehead he preformed is beyond fantastic, approaching a year post-op, it looks amazing. Something I would have never imagined. Besides from his incredible work, his bedside manner is top-notch and his humility is something hard to come by of someone with such knowledge and expertise. He honestly is the only doctor my child is not afraid to go see. I would recommend him a million times over and will always be thankful as he was on-call that night at Lurie's.

Dr. Yamada is the most skilled, conscientious Dr. I have ever experienced. My son suffered a very serious accident that required extensive facial reconstruction. Dr. Yamada repaired his face beyond any expectations that I had. You can not tell that my son son had any injury at all. Dr. Yamada was also glad to spend any time necessary with me, my wife and my son to ensure that we were fully understanding all the issues involved with the injury and how he would address all those issues. He is very skilled, has a great personality and bedside manner and is truly dedicated to his craft. You can tell that he really feels that helping people is his true calling. I give Dr. Yamada the highest possible recommendation.
