Hardly listened to my concerns and I had to come back for a second appointment to FINALLY get a referral for an issue that plagued me for months. He threw a steroid cream at me rather than trying to figure out a root issue. Poor experience.

The process took long because of covid precautions. We understand that. It took another or so minute to get into the sign in process which made it late for the patient’s actual appointment. Then the receptionist asked us to reschedule another appointment because she said we were late. This is sooo disappointing. The reason of the receptionist why we are to rescheduling other than because we were late, was because the patient is a NEW patient. Well, maybe too inappropriate to make this as a reason. A new patient that had been late because of the messed up sign in process is not a good excuse not to be seen by the doctor! Be “Patient centered” please.. My appointment was at ten, I got there a half hour early. I was there for Strep throat, which gives you a sore throat, go figure. I was told 45 minutes later that the Doctor would not see me because A Covid symptom happens to be sore throat as well. After that I was told to go to immediate care, where it would be another 45 minutes until I can be seen and not only that but I would have to wait by an alley outside until I’m called. I visited Dr. Ali Shah for allergy treatment and he recommended blood work which per my insurance is not proven to be useful to detect allergens. As a result my insurance company (one of the best corporate plans) denied the claim. He did not follow up with the results and almost disappeared. I made multiple attempt to reach him via phone, voicemail and advocate portal. Unresponsive and non-empathetic ...
