Dr. Gosain is fantastic – we cannot recommend him enough. We saw him with our 2 year old daughter to remove a lesion from her temple. He was able to diagnose it accurately, and removed it without damaging her hairline. It’s a very discreet incision. He was thorough in his assessment and answered all our questions. We did not feel rushed at all, and were comfortable asking questions. His instructions were clear. His bedside manner is great, which is a huge plus for surgeons. It’s also very important for pediatric patients. We didn’t mind that he works with residents because all surgeons should be like Dr. Gosain, and anyone who “makes it” at Lurie’s is already a cut above the rest. Not all department heads are doctors you want to see as patients (and I’ve met a few), but Dr. Gosain is great! Highly recommended. I would take my child to see him again if needed and would encourage others to do so also.

Dr. Gosain’s work is truly amazing. We feel so fortunate to have met And worked with him. Our son was born with quite a severe cleft lip and palate. After Dr. Gosain repaired both, you literally can’t see any indication of a birth defect. Friends that see our son always remark about how unbelievable he looks, and we sing Dr. Gosains praises every time.

I would never recommend Dr. Gosain to anyone. He is just not a nice person, period. His level of skill is not so unique that it cannot be found elsewhere.

I may seem a little prejudicial, being a new grandmother,but if I can stop one person from going through what we did,than I feel I have helped. I am not saying he is a bad DR,just that he is not the best. Do a little research before using him. My daughter took my granddaughter to him for a cleft lip,because her pediatrician referred her to him. Plz, parents, do some good research before you go 2 him,looks aren't everything,but they're a lot when that's your specialty and bedside mannor is awful!

Dr Gosain, his Resident and the Nurses are amazing. But his reception staff are the worst people to deal with. They act as if they are the doctors. I had my Little one's surgery by Dr and he wrote 10 days appt. The staff had already scheduled my appt without me knowing or even asking me they will argue with u. One of them said I was the one who scheduled ur littleone's surgery in a a day. They have no customer service manners very bad. They hung up the phone on me too.

Dr nurses and resident are amazing people. Very bad surgery scheduling staff. They act as if they are the drs. Very bad customer service. I had my littleone's srgery and was discharged same day wanted to speak to dr or the resident on call or when available. The Manger herself with a high tone said so u want us to ask them to stop the work they r doing and call u? I was like what? When did I say that I myself am a medical professional and know what and how things happen. I told them their Nurse met me and spoke to me regarding DC instructions. Then one of them said u dont know who u spoke to in the recovery room? I Was like Am I stupid I dont know who I met. They are very rude and without asking me they scheduled my appt. its just the limit.

I would highly recommend Dr Gosain. He is a well experienced physican with many years of experience and extremly trustworthy. My child was diagnosed with Pierre Robin Syndrome & also has a cleft palate. Dr Gosain and his team did an outstanding job repairing his cleft. My husband & I were so nervous but couldn't have choosen a better doctor for our son.

Gosain is not as talented as he likes to think he is. He promised a reconstructive surgery that he knew all along he did not have the skills for. Wasted patient's time with an ongoing charade when what he should have done was refer patient to a qualified surgeon experienced in complicated facial reconstruction. Any doctor who fails to refer a patient to someone more qualified for the task is just not someone you should trust, especially with something like reconstructive surgery.Also, NEVER see Dr. Gosain for a second opinion as he will berate you with a tirade about how he will take second place to no one.
