With numerous PT issues over the years I've been to many facilities. This is hands down the best in all my travels. Richard and Deepa are A1!!! They both have amazing bedside manner, and both articulate your issues, needs and goals so concisely. On top of that the facility is super clean and open should you have any reservations about coming during covid times. Can't say enough good thing about the staff. Oh and free parking in a neighborhood with no parking!

Tore my shoulder bodysurfing in Lake Michigan in 2017 and never recovered- I was a shell of my old self. Turns out I shredded up my labrum in the form of a slap two tear and needed shoulder surgery. After finally going through with the surgery, I've entrusted Rick and team to get me back to my old self. Rick is the main PT at River West Athletico and is formative, knowledgable, and patient. He's very easy to connect with and explains everything very well. I recommend him to family, friends and my Yelp family

I am finally finishing up my physical therapy for my arm. (Broken humeris bone, surgery with plates/screws etc...) It's been a long recovery. 6+ months of therapy. I must say though, that this Athletico location has made my recovery as comfortable as possible. George and Hannah have been wonderful to work with these past 6 months. I highly recommend the River West Athletico location. Thanks guys!!!

When I started therapy here I could barely raise my arm. 90 degrees was my max. After working with Peter I am now around 160-170 degree rotation. I would highly recommend this Athletico location! Professional. Clean, new equipment. Great staff!

I was referred to Dr. McDermott a couple of months ago. I have been to enough doctors to know that genuine, attentive, intelligent ones are hard to come by. Although I have a lot of work to do to get to where I want to be, Dr. McDermott took very little time figuring out what I need. I really appreciate the quality of care he provides and his inventive approach. That he is friendly and easy to talk to is just a bonus.
