Athletico Physical Therapy's Online Review Report Card

I come here every time I have an injury that needs attention. Sometimes I get hurt on purpose just to hang out with the great people who work here. If you have a condition that requires physical therapy, definitely call this clinic and ask for Elvis (pronounced EL-viss, not el-VEE, he’s not French). Tell him to give you the works. (Not including guac, which is extra. Tastes good but overpriced imo) As with most products these days, be warned that batteries are NOT included. I had to start bringing my own AA batteries starting with my second appointment because otherwise the discombobulator won’t deep-cycle the zarglesmargs (if you don’t know what that is, don’t worry, I studied engineering in college and still barely understand it myself). I didn’t knock a star off for this because even if you forget your batteries occasionally you’ll still be able to work around the issue, just not every time.

I absolutely loved going to physical therapy here. Elvis and his team, Brenda and Emily, helped me so much with my shoulder. I was good as new in just a few weeks and every time i went it got better. I would recommend their team to anyone who needs. They’re the best!

Elvis and his staff are absolutely the best - patient, knowledgeable, and supportive - always working with you, and your limitations, with the goal of getting you back to normal and beyond. I always feel better after a session, even when I've had setbacks, which I ascribe to their positive, upbeat energy. Elvis is an absolute wizard when it comes to dry needling. I'd never had it done before, but it truly is magic. I'll admit dry needling may not be for everyone, but it is well worth the momentary discomfort and soreness afterwards to achieve the end result.

The entire team is phenomenal, I highly recommend this Athletico location! Elvis and Brenda have been the best folks to work with. They do a thorough job to understand your needs, constantly adjust your plan of care based on feedback and ability, and use various methods to track and quantify progress. 10/10!!

I had an amazing experience working with Elvis for my hip tendonitis- he was so helpful and supportive, provided excellent exercises in PT and for me to work on at home and helped get me back to my baseline. Highly recommend this Athletico!

I have been coming here for a few weeks now and I’m loving it! Elvis has helped me tremendously especially with the situation that I’m in! He’s super attentive, driven and caring! I thank him everyday for supporting me in my journey to success! The rest of the team is also a pleasure to be around! Elvis and his team are fantastic and super helpful with my post ankle surgery. They got my confidence back in no time by rebuilding my strength and range of motion! Would recommend 10/10

The team at merch mart made my first time at physical therapy so easy and incredibly pleasant! All questions were answered thoroughly, allowing me to really understand my injury and the importance of the exercises I was doing. Elvis did an awesome job 1:1 with me, but also at leading his team (who are all so great). Was very sad to leave on my last day of PT!

Elvis and friends are the greatest of all time! It was my first major injury, and throughout my therapy process, I was always given great care. My doctor was also impressed with my smooth and swift recovery! 10/10 would get injured again (just kidding but seriously this is a great place)

I was really hesitant to go back to PT since I didn’t have a good experience with another practice (Covid delays, unreliable schedule of PTs, often changed appt times last minute) but my experience at ATHLETICO River North with Elvis has been really great. Way more expertise than that of Northwestern. My mobility has increased and it’s helped me get back into my Routine. 10/10 empathy of care which to me is most important.
