Athletico Physical Therapy's Online Review Report Card

Before deciding that I need surgery for my spine (grade 3 spondylolisthesis), I went to PT here after the surgeon suggested it as a last resort, because some people can manage the issue with PT. I had Tuan as my therapist 2-3x/week for about about 3 months. While my spine turned out to be too unstable to manage with PT alone, I did learn A LOT about the condition and my body. Tuan taught me how to manage a lot of it on my own, and he helped significantly reduce the pain I did experience and the frequency of painful days. Tuan is extremely knowledgeable about everything having to do with the field and having to do with surgical interventions (anatomy, reason why I’m feeling pain, physical interventions, pros and cons to surgical intervention, risks, recovery time and outcomes, etc). Until I went to physical therapy, I had no idea how incredible the work they do is. When I feel any pain these days, I just want to go in and have Tuan fix it, but I’m waiting until after surgery so I don’t exhaust it before surgery. On top of all that, Tuan is a really cool physical therapist, so I genuinely enjoyed every session and getting to shoot the breeze with him, catch up and hear his perspective on things during our sessions. I’d recommend PT to anyone, especially for pain or recovery, and if he can fit you in, I’d recommend Tuan (cause he’s fun!).

The staff is super friendly, flexible and knowledgeable! They definitely put me through some hard work but I never dreaded my appointments and was back running after an injury in no time.

Just finished a course of PT for lower back pain and stiffness, mostly with Anna, with a few sessions with Nick. This is my 4th Athletico go round (hey, I'm almost 60 - it happens), and I have to say that Andersonville South more than maintains the high standards I have come to expect from the Athletico brand. Anna was thoroughly professional in her practice; knowledgeable, courteous, and effective in everything she did. She was also great in scheduling around my work hours. With the help I got there, along with compliance with the at-home exercises, I am confident I will continue to be pain-free. Nick was also wonderful, but I only had a few sessions with him before he moved to a different office. The office has a great vibe, and you cannot go wrong by going there for PT/rehab.

The physical therapists and support staff are knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. The facility is clean and well-organized. Appointments are kept moving along with little or no delay in getting started. As a result of the work the therapists and I did my shoulder is stronger and more flexible. Before physical therapy, I had difficulty falling asleep and pain throughout the night. Now I sleep pain-free.

I have never had such an awesome experience in physical therapy before. Mike makes it as fun as possible, and really knows his stuff. He's helped me with knees, necks, and now a shoulder. I can't recommend highly enough!

Mike Morrow is an excellent physical therapist and really knows his stuff! He and the other staff make the PT experience enjoyable and positive while they are helping us get better.

I have attended two PT sessions so far and Nick has been outstanding. He is so knowledgeable and patient, committed to educating, teaching, and treating along the way. He developed a home exercise program that has allowed me to work on the exercises I need to do at home to stretch, strengthen, and improve the mobility of my bad knee. I appreciate all he has done for me so far. Maggie who works the front desk and assists in my PT session has been so friendly and accommodating for my visits and checking on my insurance. This is a very professional and experienced staff. I highly recommend Nick and this physical therapy location. Thank you.
