The first time Dr. Forsythe performed total replacement shoulder surgery on was in 2013. I went to Dr.Forsythe for a 2nd opinion on having the definitely necessary surgery. I chose Dr. Forsythe over the first doctor because his credentials were superior, and the Midwest Ortho staff was courteous and professional. More importantly, his immediate team was excellent before, during and after my surgery. In March ‘21, I went back for my other shoulder that had been getting bad for a couple of years. Sure enough, it had to be replaced. Having had 2 successful surgeries for the same problem, I feel like an expert on shoulder surgeons. The first healed beautifully, albeit with arduous rehab. The second is in the 3rd month of rehab and I am at about 80% recovered. Like my previous scar, I expect this one to all but disappear. So, if you want an expert doctor who is kind and light hearted, I highly recommend Dr.Forsythe.

I arrived way prior to my appointment. Let me say everyone i interacted with was superior in courtesy and friendly. I think my only complaints are the wait time and then when i saw the doctor he was in and out so fast and nothing was really accomplished as he wanted an MRI to diagnose my problem. Also i was concerned that the xrays i brought were from 2011 and didn't show the arthritis or the section thats bone on bone! I was upset that the other ofc sent me with the wrong xrays and him for not catching it! I felt like a number. I pray he is as good as i am told. Perhaps i will give it 5 stars then.

Was there WC IME visit . His PA was very nice . Felt rushed by actual dr's , that I wasn't actually a patient but something to rule over for workers comp . Yes I have meniscus tear, but do you know that I can't sleep with my knees together on my side because of pain ? No you don't . Or the many other things I am not able to do . Just didn't get the caring feeling from the dr's , the rest of staff was great !
