Bucktown Foot And Ankle Clinic's Online Review Report Card

I went hoping the negative reviews were some one offs or difficult patients, since its very convenient for me. I'm not sure now, and I was unimpressed. The doctor is very personable and seems very professional during assessment, but despite his initial reassurance that my issue was minor, immediately recommended surgery after seeing an MRI. It was difficult to schedule and to get a full quote of the cost of surgery, since the dr, surgery suite, and anesthesia are billed separately, and I decided to get a second opinion from the major Chicago hospital group. Their orthopedist said surgery seemed like overkill, unnecessary, and they would not recommend. I never bothered to follow up with Dr Parekh's office and heard nothing from them, until they billed me for 3 office visits, despite having only been once. Im willing to pay the second which was a phone call, but they also billed me for a visit on a date 1 week prior to my first actual appointment. In short, I was not impressed and I am very skeptical of, at the very least, their record keeping.

SCAM. Getting billed a year after my visit on a random date for strapping my ankle meanwhile my visit last year was for fungus skin infection. On the reviews I saw another person with the same issue, getting billed random stuff that he didnt do. Reporting this to the authorities.

Best doctor I’ve ever seen 🙌🏽 was so informative, made me feel comfortable but also got straight to business, even told me what to look up so I could educate myself and have a better understanding of my treatment. Actually excited to go back.

Amazing is an understatement!!!!

I have been charged a total of $950. 2 sets of orthotics.1 to replace the first, that made my foot pain worse. 2nd set was just as bad. Why would I pay for bad medical devices that don't fit properly? On top of that I was charged $135 each time I picked up the orthotics. Waste of time and money. Sent in $75 for the initial visit to the collection agency.

super nice and chill doctor. very informative and knowledgeable. the office is nice too-very clean and modern. every time i come i have a pleasant experience and they take my insurance!!! 10/10 would recommend.

Dr. Parekh was easy to schedule and gave me the answers I needed to make a decision about how to approach my foot injury. He doesn’t rush through appointments and made sure I understood my diagnosis and options.

Went to see Dr. P for an ongoing foot issue and immediately knew this was the correct choice. Dr. P is knowledgeable and takes the time to explain all issues in a way that everyone can understand. You don't feel rushed. You leave feeling confident and glad you booked an appointment. Also his follow up is 10 out of 10!!
