List of Compass Health Center's Reviews
Great experience, couldn't recommend Compass enough. The staff is awesome. Compass as a whole is also very flexible with setting up a payment plan for those that are interested in the program but have reservations about costs. I always felt that I could easily reach out to my therapists via email and that they'd respond in a timely manner.
Exceptional care and professionalism.
Compass provides one of the most impressive environments for growth that I've ever experienced. It's not perfect and not trying to be, and yet still does so many things right - from easy patient onboarding to a diverse mix of patients and therapists to alignment to some of the most reputable therapeutic modalities to actual measurable results (nearly everyone I've spoken to upon discharge, including myself, was grateful for the way Compass changed their lives). I didn't know I needed something like Compass and still struggle to describe how exactly it helped me - and yet it did, and I am so thankful I found it. If you're on the fence or wondering if this is the perfect program for you, your identity, or your experience... consider taking a leap of faith. It has positively changed the way I interact with the world, the way I manage myself, and the way I experience life.
I'm probably the person most likely to tell you the flaws in a treatment program, and I will stubbornly insist that you explain each and every loophole I've found before I consider adopting it wholeheartedly. If you're anything like me, a Google review won't convince you of a treatment program's effectiveness. So instead I'll encourage you to do what I did and see for yourself what you can become when you practice what you learn here consistently. It won't magically solve your life circumstances, though you won't have to face that alone. It will help you become the strongest version of yourself so that you can face those circumstances head on.
Compass changed my life- all for the better. I went in with acute anxiety and depression- I graduated with a new perspective on life. The programs and group therapy validated my personal struggles, helped me work through them, and get to know myself like never before. The community and safety i felt at Compass was something that I have never known. I'm going to stay involved with Mental Health Advocacy for the rest of my life. I am grateful for my experience, I have been provided tools for recovery and stability, I am a new me. SEEDS. STOP. Radical acceptance. I have so many thanks for whom I am now. Mental health is health- our bodies are attached to our brains- Mental health is health.
"Great people make everyone feel good — warm, welcoming, and full of good energy."
Made me feel stable from my schizopheffective mental disorder Love the program Very helpful and understanding Really recommend
The MHSU program helped save my life this past year. I don’t say this lightly that this place really helped me establish a new baseline for mental health and sobriety.
While I think it's important a middle ground exists between intensive outpatient therapy and inpatient institutionalization, their "couple's"/"family" therapy not only needs to be called something else but is itself a deeply destabilizing model. The focus is SUPPOSED to be focused on discussing patient care in order to support them at home but it's being used in a way that is SO unbalanced and SOLELY about the needs of the patient, the rest of the home just ends up not mattering at all to the point that it's borderline dehumanizing to the other party. Something that particularly stood out as deeply flawed "working" with therapist Bridget Donnelly was that I on no uncertain terms directly stated that using a last session to bring up big destabilizing topics before a gap in care before we could continue actual couple's therapy at an outside facility was a very bad idea and unproductive use of our time, she intentionally guided the session towards THE MOST destabilizing topics possible, which is an actually dangerous misunderstanding of therapy in itself and easily could have reignited another mental health crisis right before discharge. It was extremely disturbing.
Incredible program. They have thorough treatment and will help with acquiring insurance and short term disability coverage. Great all around. If you're struggling with your mental health and have the ability to take time off, I can't recommend it enough.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
