It has passed already almost 3 years since my last appointment with Dr. Jeff Mirsky. I really miss him a lot. I can’t find any other Psychiatrist or Psycholigist that cares a lot about their patients like he use to be with me. I remember all his words to clear my mind that helped to understand how to deal with my situation. I have been suffered since I was a child which is a lot and he had already helped to go trough with more than half of that. If something was out of his hands he would try very hard to move mountains to help out even out of his range. He will fight for you to make you feel you are not alone and that he is there to always help you. I had already about 4 psychiatrist and 3 Psycholigist that were in my network and all I can say is: it is not the same. I can’t have with them a quality service like I had with Dr. Mirsky who truly hear your problems and not just care about money. I wish you the best Dr Mirsky wherever you are. You worked very hard to get where you are. So sad I can’t afford your service anymore. But Thanks to you I can at least walk forward remembering your words and remember myself who I am and let my pass behind. God bless you Dr Mirsky.

I would give Dr. Jeffrey Mirsky and his staff zero stars if I could. One would hope that a professional in the mental health field would assess a patient versus having his receptionist do the intake; make the appointment, then 3 weeks later cancel saying 'the doctor was out of town and did not have time to review the intake notes and after review is canceling the appointment because he does not treat 'xyz' condition'... which is not even close to the condition I discussed with his receptionist.

Put me on Zyprexa low dose, and although it was extremely sedating and I couldn’t function too well, he seemed to really care and to be quick to help treat my symptoms. Psychiatry ain’t easy and I’m sure not many doctors want to go into it, but I’m pretty sure not 200% of psychiatrists are evil doctors as some make them out to be. Will give a 5/5 for the doctor, a 3/5 for the medicine (still helped manage symptoms, even months after discontinuation).

This man told me I did not need medication. In the one year that he was my doctor I went to the psych ward at least 3 times. He did not listen to me while i was suffering and suffering and suffering. Please beware of this doctor because now I am so messed up in the head, I will never be the same again.

Miracle worker. Saved me from severe depression after multiple other docs gave up and electro convulsive produced no results. Exceeding optimistic and has the results to back that up. Markedly better, smarter and more informed than typical psychiatrist.

Dr. Goldstein is smart, honest and straightforward. He does not sugar coat things which is good. It makes him more trustworthy. If I contact him via e-mail or text - he always gets back to me the same day. I have been battling severe treatment resistant depression for a long time. He hung in there with me and kept trying. I'm grateful.

I started seeing Dr. Goldstein through a clinical depression research study run out of Rush. At first he seemed brisk and intimidating, but when my condition severely worsened he was really responsive and caring. He took me out of the study so that he could freely adjust my meds. Since then, he has been following up a lot and helping me get samples of the very expensive medicine that I need. He's very knowledgeable and experienced in his field.

Dr. Goldstein provides caring and attentive treatment for my 18 year old son who has bipolar disorder. He is very good about keeping the family involved, and communicating with my son's therapists. When my son has had crisis situations, he has always been available and has gone out of his way to assist -- even calling my son late on a Sunday night.
