I had seen 7 doctors locally and not one wanted to help me with my arthritic hips because I am overweight. He saw me and a minute into our visit, he asked me when I wanted him to do surgery. I liked that he answered every question I had as well as sent a tri folder packed full of information on before, day of, and after surgery. The day of surgery, he came and talked to me before surgery to answer any questions and afterwards talked to my wife and answered all of her questions. He called the next day to see how I was feeling and I signed up for the daily text messages that helped out also. This man has an excellent bedside manner and genuinely cares for his patients. He repaired both of my hips and I would tell everyone to see him if you need surgery. I fought for five years to get my hips replaced, if it wasn’t for this man, I may not be here today as I was in so much pain! Thank you Dr. Della Valle you saved my life!

From my first appointment to my 6week post op appointment, I never once had a question! Daily texts were awesome as was all staff members. Dr. Della Valle truly cares for his patients!

Couldn’t have picked a better group than Dr. Della Valle and his team. I knew I was in good hands …felt calm and relaxed through the whole process - pre surgery, surgery and getting through physical therapy. His text messages were a lifeline for me. Always knew what to expect, where to be in my recovery and just knowing he was concerned with my progress. Those texts kept me going even when I felt a little overwhelmed. And a bit of humor always helps! That text came at the right time! Thank you Dr. Della Valle!

I chose RUSH Orthopedics (Munster,IN)when I first injured my knee because I wanted to be treated by the best. I was first treated by Dr Yanke who referred me to Dr Della Valle. Both teams were AMAZING. Within an hour of being referred, Dr Della Valle personally called my cellphone and arranged everything with his assistant Courtney. Anytime I called Della Valle’s office my call was immediately answered. I never had to leave a message.I had a total knee replacement and signed up for Dr Della Valle’s “surgery texts” which were spot on. Several times after surgery I would think of a question and it was like my mind was being read because I would receive a new surgery text that just so happen addressed what I was going through and thinking. A lot of thought was put into the text messages. Just as important, the encouragement and suggested exercises helped me get to a complete and full recovery. I would compare my progress to others (who used other doctors / Not from RUSH) in physical therapy and felt I was able to do much more than they could and got there much quicker. I attribute it to Dr Della Valle’s expertise and and their encouragement.I’ll be honest, the 9 days after surgery were rough but following the text messages and doing what Della Valle’s team had me do has made this process a complete success. 8 weeks after surgery and I’m walking with no pain and it’s so Smooth. I am actually looking forward to having the other knee done by Dr Della Valle.I would highly recommend RUSH orthopedics in Munster. I NEVER had a single complaint from day one.Dr Della Valle you are a blessing to me and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking such great care of me. I can’t wait until the next knee is done so I can have my life back.

Dr. Della Valle is wonderful! I had total knee replacement on both my knees 4 weeks apart. I'm doing great! Better than most I'm doing therapy with which says alot for what a great doctor he is. He's very caring and so are all his team members! It has been a great experience. Would recommend him to anyone.

Dr Della Valle performed a partial knee replacement recently. He answered all our questions before and more after my surgery. After 3 weeks I am nearly pain free! He and his staff are very caring. I would definitely recommend him!

Dr. DellaValle and staff were very sympathetic to my painful situation. Despite not being the best physical specimen, my knee replacement was scheduled and has gone extraordinarily well. Any concerns I had were handled compassionately by his staff. The text messages I signed up for were helpful and answered many questions along the way. I appreciated the encouragement and excercises that were sent. Everything was toop notch!

I had a great experience with Dr. Della Valle and his team with my RTHR. I am a VERY anxious person and I felt very cared for and at ease. The text messaging program was beyond beneficial! I am having my LTHR in two more days and will sign up for it again.
