Excellent! Highly recommended!
It has been a little over 5 years since I had both hips replaced by Dr. Manning (8 months apart) and I couldn't be happier. As a surgeon myself, I had suffered for years in the operating room. The pain was miraculously gone shortly after surgery and I was back to work full-time in about 2 weeks. Since then, I have referred two good friends and two relatives to Dr. Manning for joint replacement, and all four have enjoyed similarly excellent results.
I’m 80. Had L. knee replacement in 2015, R. Knee in ‘17, and L. hip ‘19. I’m totally relieved, healed and pleased. Surgical outcomes depend on the skill of the surgeon; Dr M ‘s skill made me mobile and 100% pain free once again. In addition, I’m impressed by his office’s pre-surgery prep instructions (exercises, infection prevention, home tips, etc) and post-surgery follow thru ( instructions, healing timelines explained, pain management was excellent, set up at home PT, etc).
I would give zero stars if possible. I had a knee replacement 3 1/2 years ago and have had knee pain for 3 of those years. Sought his help as the surgeon who did the procedure has since left. He only made one suggestion, an injection, which added hip pain to my knee pain. It took him three months after that to tell me he couldn't help me.

Both hips replaced. Five years out all is good. Great bedside manner and superb support staff.
I was so lucky to have Dr.Manning for my emergency surgery and follow up app. As a78 yr.old female I have had several doctors in my life but never one so concerned that he couldn’t have treated me any better then his mother.
disaster In most cases a resident operates on Manning's THR patients ----- most patients are simply used as teaching aids for resident trainees ... A resident operated on my wife ---botched the surgery ---- and she bled to death on the operating table. Manning refused to admit a resident was operating. Manning failed to timely stop the bleeding and give his patient blood. should have IN WRITING Manning himself will do operation
DID A HIP REPLACEMENT THREE YEARS AGO. DID AN EXCELLENT JOB. HE REALLY SAT DOWN AND EXPLAINED EVERYTHING AND WHAT TO EXPECT. SUPPORTED AFTER SURGERY. MAKE AN APPOINTMENT WELL IN ADVANCE. HE IS VERY BUSY.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
