Dina Yaghmai's Online Review Report Card

My internist recommended Dr. Yaghami. She listened to my concerns and we discussed pros and cons of a range of options. My concerns regarded outcomes, possible downtime, expense and levels of pain. We discussed these questions, we ranked options. She is an excellent doctor and I was pleased to have dealt with the problem. Her staff members are extremely helpful and have been exceptionally supportive. I appreciated my internist's recommendation, and in turn recommend her highly.

I have been going to Dr. Yaghmai for years! She has the kindest bedside manner. Very approachable and knowledgeable. She is extremely qualified and her background in her field is remarkable. She is the typeof physician you search for when choosing the correct one. She is always working on her research and on topof the latest knowledge in her field. Her work is flawless!

As a rosacea patient, I was directed to Dr. Dina Yaghmai. Having fair skin, and overall redness, with broken vessels, Dr. Yaghmai provided a treatment plan for laser therapy along with topicals. She definitely gave me the time needed to explain my options. Great results and happy to have a doctor recognized as one of Chicago's Top Doctors in her field!

I've been a patient of Dr. Yaghmai for over 15 years. Her expert care, treatment and amazing bedside manner is truly above and beyond. The PDL treatments that I've received from her as yielded the best results with a patient plagued with rosacea and broken blood vessels of the face. However, Dr. Yaghmai's remarkable care and expertise was truly demonstrated when I was diagnosed with invasive moderately differentiated squamous cell carcinoma along the left cheek with comments that the lesion involved the deep margins, tumor is invasive into the skeletal muscle and foci suspicious for perineural invasive was also noted. Sounds scary...it was; trust me.Because I have the upmost respect for Dr. Yaghmai's professional opinion, I emailed her the damning pathology report and she called me within an hour. From there, we outlined a plan of action, which involved getting several opinions. There was no time to be wasted and based on her connections, I was able to see doctors that would have taken two months to see. When you are diagnosed with aggressive skin cancer, then we all know and understand that time is of the essence.Dr. Yaghmai is an expert in laser treatment, Botox, chemical peels and injectable fillers, but she is also an amazing person with outstanding compassion.

Dr. Yahgmai has always been a courteous & professional dermatologist. She has a kind and comforting manner. I used to work for her & am seeking her out for mine & my daughter's care even though we have both moved since then.

I would recommend Dr. Yaghmai to anyone who will listen. I went to her for a treatment for a period of time and she made sure at each appointment that ALL of my questions and concerns were well taken care of, leaving time to inquire about my persona life as well. I have since moved out to the south suburbs and still travel to see her whenever I need her services.

I went to Dr Yaghmai for a consulation. I'm a young person who has never had any cosmetic work performed before and was easily able to make the appointment over the phone. At no point during the phone appointment or while I was standing there at the checkout counter was a fee mentioned. Two weeks later I got a bill for $165 - half of the $400 procedure she recommended I come back for!!!! NO THANKS!

My first apt with Dr. Yaghmai went OK, she was a bit inconsiderate but I brushed it off as cultural differences. When the office staff did not schedule the correct time needed for my second apt she actually blamed me and was quite rude about it. Forget about the customer always being right. And after her telling me I was completely wrong about what she planned for my skin treatment, she never did apologize but said there is miscommunication. I'm not sure if it is because English is her second language, but internationally, I believe patients should be treated with respect.

Dr. Yaghmai is quite arrogant and contentious. I was shocked at how rude she was to a patient and have never felt so uncomfortable with a physician. After the front desk did not schedule enough of time for my apt, she blammed me instead of apologizing for their mistake. I had seen her before, and did not have a great experience but thought I'd give her another chance, which turned out to be a waste of time. I think English as a second language sets up miscommunication problems which she is ignoring.
