My Hygienist T. Johnson was very thorough and I had a very good experience. I haven’t been here in a while but my dentist Dr Ahmed remembered me and my issues. Very good teamwork. I’m scheduled for my next cleaning and will call for other work.
We were patients of Downtown Dental for 7 years and toward the end, it was a joke: - Constant dentist/dental hygienist turnover - Constant upselling and non-stop texts to book appointments - My husband's permanent retainer that they bonded and broke within a week. After they replaced it, it cracked again within a week. After a 2nd bonding, it fell off. They never referred him to an orthodontist. The quality nosedived after the practice was sold to a private equity firm. Thanks, private equity, for ruining a perfectly good dental practice!

Booked a new patient appointment online a few weeks in advance, got MANY confirmation emails/texts across may days (including a day-of reminder), only to discover after arriving that I’m not in their system somehow? Huge waste of time.
Everything was great. I do need to go back for a filling and a crown. Thanks for letting me know.
Don't beg for an appointment; you are an important client, and they work—and put food on their tables—thanks to you. I called them more than 15 times—with the insurance agent waiting on the other end of the line each time—and they kept putting me on hold. I was never able to schedule an appointment because they were unable to validate my insurance. They offer no solutions; if this is how things start out, I dread to imagine what the actual service must be like.
Ask for Ken the dental hygienist. He works very quickly and got all of the staining off my teeth. I drink a lot of coffee and tea so it’s not easy.
Good experience most of the time (a lot of employee turnover, especially since COVID) but it has been impossible to get my records after I moved, which is very concerning. I also had issues with a recommended procedure (root canal) which was misdiagnosed. So good effort, but the details didn't always play out as well.
