List of Dr. Jonith Y. Breadon's Reviews
Dr Breadon is knowledgeable and has a great chair side manner. She explains the problem and treatment so you are aware of the expected outcomes. When people ask about whether I know a dermatologist that I can refer, I always refer Dr Breadon.
If you have 45-minutes to an hour to wait, great! I have never - not ever had a visit and didn’t wait at least 45-minutes to an hour. For most working professionals who are on a tight schedule, it’s the worst and they don’t have weekend hours. I fully understand being in high demand with high patient caseloads. However, there are ways to better manage appointment schedules. In addition, most visits aren’t covered and/or you have to pay out of pocket plus the prescriptions either aren’t covered or cost an exorbitant amount and they won’t prescribe a generic formula leaving you to negotiate and/or battle with your health ins carrier - and we know how that goes.
Dr Breadon is very knowledgeable and explains my treatments options so I understand. She includes me in treatment decisions.
I just started seeing Dr. Breadon, so far so good. She is so knowledgeable and detailed, prescribed the medications, including shampoo, Nutrifol and the history of my fungus, alopecia condition. Needless to say I felt reassured with her ability to treat my Condition and restore my hairline before I lose it completely. I trust her knowledge and judgment and will be referring my friends to her practice .Thanks so much.
Dr. Breadon, NP Nina, and staff set the bar for dermatology care. Finding a dermatologist that focused on African American skin conditions was a diamond in the rough. I’m so happy I found her and what a blessing she is to the city of Chicago. The team here is highly skilled, compassionate, and empathetic. They take their time, you never feel rushed, and all your questions will be answered when you leave here. You are treated like an individual not a number. Dr. Breadon and staff are highly recommended.
After waiting 15-20 min I should’ve been given an update regarding how long I would be waiting (an hour.) I understand things happen; however, this should be always communicated to the patient.I would appreciate if Dr Breadon gave a more holistic approach to treatments. Immediately jumping to taking oral medication as a solution can be intimidating. Talk to the patient more about how their disease and symptoms can be managed before prescribing them something.Lastly, Dr Breadon and her medical assistant were very personable and had great bedside manners. They were definitely helpful with answering whatever questions I had. I felt like they really listened.
Un servicio con excelencia recordatorios de tu cita y la personas muy amables y atienden y esplicame bien para no tener dudas gracias por su atención y servicio yo estoy muy agradecido. Con todos
This is the best place for all your skin care needs.
I am so blown away on how beautiful my skin turned out. Veronica the aesthetician there made that happen for me. Her professionalism and knowledge of skin care is impeccable! Thank you again Veronica for helping me love my skin!😊again
I love my Dr. Breadon and most of the office staff. She is amazing, she is educated and so well informed! She really cares about her patients and if she just hired people who were as good as her this would be the perfect place to be. The doctor is only half the part of your appointment experience the other half is the staff and if only part is good and you don't want to deal with the other then that is a problem. After speaking to Tyler I would say that with covid happening the desperation set in and she was left with very few choices! I told him that he was lack luster he said that I was rude and didn't even let me talk. Then when I did, he asked me if I was just going to talk over him, well I guess so if I am still talking and you are not listening. Who does that! I will say that his philosophy is not to make sure patients are ok. He should not have a job in a medical office. However, that being stated John at the front is amazing. Juan who was there was amazing he is at a different practice. Jose just a great guy who knows what he is doing, not sure if he is still there. Lisa such a good nurse! Nina needs to have a lesson in bed side manners. So in speaking about her he told me not to talk bad about her, when does an office tell me what I should say or feel about a staff member and I have every right to tell someone that I do not like them and I do not want to hear about them. Also, he had the audacity to tell me he is going to calling even if I do not want him to call to me. I have every right to not have someone call me that is ignorant. I again love her, but I really need to have an office that cares as much as her. SADDENED by this!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
