Dr. Kevin Pinski's Online Review Report Card

I have had several appointments with Dr. Pinski and he is the only dermatologist I trust. He does not do unnecessary surgery just to help a hospital be more profitable as some have that I have experienced, nor does he rush through his appointments to squeeze in more patients to make more money as others have that I have experienced. Dr. Pinski makes accurate diagnoses and takes the proper courses of actions to benefit his patients, and at very reasonable costs. I would go to Dr. Pinski or not go at all (I'm going later today and have full confidence in him).

This is the worst excuse for a Doctor I have ever met. He is a scam artist. He has done multiple very unethical things to me. Just one of my terrible experiences is I went in for an annual skin cancer screening. He literally took two minutes looking at my skin. I have lots of sun damage all over my body and concerning spots. He hardly looked at them. When I asked questions he was impatient and told me I can make another appointment if I had more questions. He also just looked at my skin with a naked eye, nothing else. When I went to a REAL dermatologist, they took at least 15-20 minutes looking at my skin with a little magnifying glass to ensure I did not have any skin cancer concerns. Dr Pinski is there to take your money. He does not care about his patients! His skin cancer screenings are an absolute joke and I would not be surprised if any of his patients ended up getting skin cancer due to his complete negligence. He is even worse when it comes to cosmetic procedures!

My appointment and follow up at Dr. pinski"s office, was something I have never experienced before.                                                                                       When I was in the patient room the nurse examined me and said to use a cream that came from his office, and come back in 2 weeks. I asked what the price of the cream was, she said $40 to $45. When I got to the front desk, they said it was $65. I questioned the price, but they said that was what I needed. Went home and used the cream on my foot and ankle area, that evening,  like they said to do. Within an hour of using the cream, I had a lot of pain and looked at the area, and it was  covered in blisters, and very red and painful. I called the office the next morning., and all they could say was don't use that cream anymore. Then said just use the other cream that I was using before I came to the office. Then come in on my appointment in 2 weeks.        No followed up on this issue, to see if I needed antibiotics or for the horrible allergic reaction that lasted for 2 days. But did not get any better , til I went to another Dermatologist to help fix the damage the cream caused me.                So I spent $65 for a lot of pain and no follow up, unless I waited over 2 more weeks.                                                                                                                               I would not recommend Dr. Pinski"s dermatology office.

I do not have enough words to express my gratitude to Dr. Pinski and his staff. I have been a patient of Dr. Pinski's for years and trusted his guidance through various dermatology related issues. He has always been kind, professional, and knowledgeable. Most recently (the last 3 months) I have undergone XTRAC laser treatment for vitiligo. Let me preface this with saying that this laser is not easy to use, and requires a highly trained technician to administer. I have been working with Mari De La Roca, a medical laser tech, and she is absolutely incredible. She is caring, compassionate, and meticulous. She's also a rockstar with this laser because once your color comes back, you then return to fill in smaller areas that are missing. It's truly art. With Dr. Pinski and Mari's help, I can say that I have close to 80% of my color back... and I'm still in treatment and thus expecting more color to resurface! The color has repigmented on my face and hands, and I am ecstatic with the results. I look like me again, and would do it all over again in a heartbeat. Thank you both from the bottom of my heart! You have made a world of a difference in my life.P.S. The front desk and other staff members are also really nice and helpful. Given everything going on with COVID, they've been so great about checking me in quickly and safely. They always have something nice to say too. Shout out to them as well!

I had a horrifying experience at a nearby hospital with a great reputation, and now the only dermatologist I trust is Dr. Pinski.  Dr. Pinski quickly and correctly diagnoses his patients, charges fair prices and really cares about his patients and their total well being.  Now I have been to him many times and he has never tried to give me procedures I didn't need for the money as others have.  I have been extremely happy with all the work he has done for me and have also witnessed the amazing work he has done for my friends and family.  He is the only dermatologist I can recommend and trust.  If you live anywhere near Chicago, go to Dr. Pinski or you may be sorry!

Dr. Pinski pushed to remove a small mole on my neck which he said could be cancerous. I've had this mole on my neck for over twenty years, and have had countless doctors say it was benign and there was no need to remove. Pinski was aggressive in pushing to have him do the procedure. I decided to have him remove the mole and have it biopsied. It came back benign, as every previous competent physician noted it would. Additionally he did not remove the sutures but a person that appeared ill trained, if trained at all, bumbled to remove the sutures. When I asked where Pinski was, I was told he had already left the office. When at a later date I spoke to Pinski to ask why he hadn't removed my sutures or examined the wound, he said this was how his office operates. He doesn't routinely remove sutures or examine post operation wounds. Pinski seems much more interested in creating revenue for his office than in the care and treatment of his patients.

Love this Dr.s Office for a few reasons.  1. They are open on Saturdays!  2. They have an outstanding staff3. Love Joy!  She does a outstanding job with the facials and giving advice. 4.  They are on the cutting edge of Cosmetic work.  Love going to this office, I can't say that for many Dr. Offices :)

I have been appreciating the great results of Dr. Pinski and Dr. Pinski Sr for over 40 years.  From Spider veins, unsightly moles, to Botox  an fillers, Dr. Kevin Pinski is informative, addresses   your interests and makes suggestions for the future.  Even the smallest procedure has huge results.  Strangers on the street compliment me immediately afterward.  It is so much easier to put on makeup.  Scowl lines between the eyebrows disappear and   no longer make me look angry.Fantastic results!N.Dupee

I have been a patient of Dr. Pinski's for 2 years and have been extremely pleased with my treatment (botox and fillers) and have had really amazing results! He's a very highly skilled and caring physician. I was referred by my friend who told  me he is top in his field and I totally agree with her!  He has an excellent bedside manner and takes time to explain the treatments, what the best options are and recovery time.  He and his assistant, Kim made sure I was doing well and knew what to expect.  Upon checkout, I met with Joy who went over what products I needed and how to apply them. I recommend Dr. Pinski to my friends and my family.  It's fun to get comments about looking 10 years younger than you actually are!
