Dr. Monica Rani's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Rani is an excellent dermatologist in every way. She is thorough, skilled and has outstanding bedside manner. She is committed to her patients and attentive to their needs. I am an emergency physician and have interactive with thousands of physicians in my practice. I would place Dr. Rani in the top 1% of the physicians that I have encountered over the past 35+ years.

I scheduled a visit with Dr Rani because I suffer from chronic eczema. I was very hopeful and excited because the office identifies as functional/integrative medicine and I am uninterested in treating my eczema with steroid creams. I made this known many times. Sure enough the only relief suggested was a topical steroid cream. While Dr Rani is a lovely human and very kind, I feel like my time, money and energy was wasted and I am back at square one. It is also true that they try to sell you on their own skin care brand which is quite pricey.

I am writing here to share my experience with Dr. Monica Rani and the treatment I received from her for Melasma. She is incredibly knowledgeable and skilled in her approach to my treatment, and I am overjoyed with the positive results I am seeing. Dr. Monica not only helped me understand the condition but also provided me with exceptional care, making sure I was comfortable and well-informed throughout the treatment. I'm so happy with the results! I cannot speak highly enough of Dr. Monica and the care she provides. She is professional, loving, caring, and highly skilled in her work. Above all, she is a wonderful human! If you're looking for a dermatologist who truly cares about her patients, I highly recommend Dr. Monica.

2023 Update: I started to come to Dr. Rani for Botox as well and I am very pleased with the results. I look fresh but never stiff (which is what feared before getting Botox for the first time). Highly recommend Dr. Rani’s approach towards injectables too! I have extremely sensitive skin and I wanted to find a doctor that I could trust leading up to my wedding. I try to keep my skin routine to a bare minimum due to the extreme sensitivities but I started to notice very dull skin. I wanted to look my best for my wedding so I visited Dr. Rani to understand my options. Dr. Rani recommended laser facials which I absolutely fell in love with. After a couple of rounds I even started to use less foundation because my skin looked so good! Highly recommend Dr. Rani!

Went in for a laser procedure. Overall laser was okay. Cost was reasonable ($250/treatment). Didn’t exactly work as I expected. The broken vessels on my face never improved.I probably needed more sessions but hesitated because the overall experience was not great. Doctor never asked me about my skincare routine or products I was already using. She wanted to prescribe antibiotics for the 2 zits I have which I thought was overkill. I did not come in to have my acne treated. It was more of a laser consult. They gave me no after care instructions at all after the laser and I had to ask for suncreen after the procedure. The front desk seemed so busy that they didn’t have time to answer your questions or talk to you nicely.

Dr. Monica Rani is attentive, respectful, and professional. She listens and answers all your concerns and makes sure you receive the adequate treatment. I bought the 4% radiance pads for my inner tight hyperpigmentation which has shown positive results in two weeks. Her and the ADAM team are spectacular, I will keep going to her office and buying her products.

I went to Advanced Dermatology & Aesthetic Medicine for a cosmetic consult. My main concerns were hyperpigmentation and acne, and just how to overall have healthier looking skin. Dr. Rani is so nice and very knowledgable about Dermatology. The products she suggested were made from the highest quality. She answered all of my questions and concerns about procedures I was curious about, such as micro-needling and laser facials. The staff at Advanced Dermatology & Aesthetic Medicine are also very welcoming. Overall, I think anyone would benefit from a visit to Dr. Monica Rani's practice.

My experience at the clinic was excellent. Dr Rani and her Team are very welcoming and knowledgeable. They carefully listen to your needs and recommend the appropriate treatment and options. The environment is warm as they make you feel very comfortable.

My one issue is that the doctor has recommend I buy her overpriced products on two occasions now. The most recent being the eye cream she sells in her office. This eye cream has has the office name on it, but this cream with the exact formula is something you can get from multiple places, including brandify where you can get if for $27.00 with a subscription instead of the $104.00 Dr. Rani charges. The product on brandify has a different label, but the EXACT same bottle AND ingredients list...I feel it's wrong for doctors to buy products, slap their name on it, and then charge their PATIENTS triple the price, but that's just me. I did reach out to her office about this concern but they never responded to me.
