I had avoided going to the dentist for so long, until 3:00am this morning...I went online and googled 24 hour emergency dentist, called just about every number available and left messages with every call center / voicemail I could. At around 6:45am, delirious from pain, I got a call from Michael and he set me up for an appointment right at 9:00am. Michael could not have been more helpful and understanding in getting me set all set up because at that point, I was in so much pain, I don't imagine I was being very personable. When I had arrived and filled out paperwork everything there moved like a well oiled machine. Pragna, I believe her name is, was so informative and helpful with choosing the best options for today and following visits. Everything was shown to me and explained to me clearly. The best part of the whole experience was Dr. Treikman. He was so fast and had me in absolutely no pain without having to go under, which was all I could have ever asked for. After leaving messages with all those call centers and voicemails, East Village Dental Centre was the first and only call back I had received. Even at this point. Thank you so much for the amazing service!

I cannot say enough positive things about this office. The staff are all incredibly friendly, and every visit is enjoyable from start to finish. I am so glad that I found this office, and hope every member of the staff realizes they all contribute to the five star review. Thank you guys for making a visit to the dentist something to look forward to!

I broke a tooth and had to find an emergency dentist the next morning. I found East Village Dental, was able to call and book an appointment for the same morning, and Dr. Treinkman was able to give me a root canal and temporary crown that very same morning! I was impressed not only with the speedy service for a somewhat complex procedure, but with the staff as well. The dental hygienist, Pragna, who saw me first was extremely kind and did a great job explaining to me what needed to be done. Dr. Treinkman checked to make sure I wasn't in any discomfort multiple times throughout the procedure and showed me photos to help explain what he was doing at frequent intervals, so I knew exactly what was happening and what would happen next. What more can I say - they took me for an emergency procedure the same day and the staff was great!

I'm always in good hands at East Village Dental, as my latest experience affirms. I arrived on Monday with a cracked upper molar and was given the thoughtful and professional consultation I've come to expect in the 20+ years I've been a patient of Dr. Treinkman and his staff. Minutes after receiving X-rays, Dr. McWilliams gently delivered the inevitable news that a crown was needed to restore the tooth. I requested the procedure to be done right away, after work the next day, and was accommodated. The doctor and his attentive dental assistants worked as a seamless team to make me feel comfortable and informed every step of the way. In addition to state-of-the-art dental camera pictures taken of my tooth as the procedure evolved, I was able to watch the doctor create my new crown on a computer beside my chair... better than watching the Science Channel! When it was time to pay for the procedure, the receptionist assured me he would advocate for fair insurance coverage on my behalf. I was out in two hours with a perfect new crown, a couple Ibuprofens for any post-op pain, and the satisfaction of receiving another positive dental care experience.

This was our first visit to East Village Dental and it was amazing. The office was very impressive and had all the bells and whistles of an upgraded state of the art office. We were very happy with the service we received and the interaction with all of the employees at EVDC. It is easily located on a busy street and the best part they have plenty of private parking. Thank you to EVDC for all of your fine work and one on one personal touch!

I like this office. The people are kind; the dentist, Dr. McShane is highly adroit. The hygienists Pragna and Anna are lovely and very considerate in regard to my TMJ. All complete procedures in a timely fashion without complaints from them,about my jaw needing breaks. Much better than previous dental practice that promised massage, TV, waxing hands, etc. What good is all that when they were snarky? These people are professional and considerate.

Dr. McWilliams, thanks for seeing me two rainy Saturdays in a row bright and early even though all I was experiencing was some random thermal sensitivity. You are the best. PS -- there are two parking 'lots,' people! Around the side and in the back. I never drive here so in the past, I've never noticed but since it was a Saturday and it was crappy out, I gave in. Amazing.

I cannot say enough good things about the dentists and staff at East Village Dental Centre. Dr. McShane is a highly competent, compassionate professional and a gem of a human being. Every member of their staff I have worked with over the past few years has been wonderful. They also have weekend availability and use cutting edge technology (e.g., same-day crowns) in their work, which means less time off work for me when I need dental care. Very grateful to have found this practice!

Best dentists ever! They do everything--including crowns RIGHT ON SITE. Dr. Treinkman is my dentist and he is amazing. All the assistants and people on board are thoroughly knowledgable, confident, professional and very friendly. I feel safe when I walk in and I know my dental issues will be dealt with by professionals with the latest innovations available, and with great care and expertise. I left feeling like a new person with a new crown!

I've been to East Village Dental for a cleaning, two fillings and a crown. Each time they have made it the most pleasant that a dentist visit could be. They let you listen to your iPod while they work which really helped me relax. Also, just little things like giving you lip balm so your lips stay comfy during the procedure means a lot to me. Both dentists I've had were gentle and answer any questions you may have. They have many screens and take videos and photos of your teeth. I kinda like that they show you before and after shots. Overall, they do a much better job than my previous dentists.As far as the wait, it kinda depended on the day but nothing to complain about.I'm very glad I found this place.Also, they have options for people without dental insurance. It's not crazy expensive but its not cheap either, but you get what you pay for and in my opinion you don't want to cheap out when it comes to you dentist.UPDATE:I had for wisdom teeth extracted (two-fully impacted and two-partially impacted) by Dr. McWilliams. This is inherently an awful experience but I can't tell you what a great job EVD did! During the surgery Dr. McWilliams and his assistant were very conscious of me (and gentle) since I was awake during the procedure. He even PERSONALLY called me two days later to see how I was doing. They gave me good directions on the after maintenance as well. So happy with this place.
