List of Erin Bearss's Reviews
I'm so grateful to have her as my family physician. She's incredibly knowledgeable, smart and personable. Her practical and calm approach puts patients at ease. I always feel like I am in the best hands.
Worst ER doctor at Mount Sinai. She lacks bedside manner, doesn't listen to patients, tries to dismiss complaints, and her physical exam caused intense pain as she does not realize to be gentle when patients are in the ER due to severe pain.
Saw her in the ER at Mount Sinai. She was rude, rough, and was very argumentative when I tried to tell her about my symptoms and past medical history. Compared to the other doctors in this ER, she is the most uncompassionate and appears to lack empathy.
She administered me my covid test and took the time to explain everything to me. She was very patient and kind spoken and I felt very comfortable and safe with her.
She has been our family physician for ten years. We have complete trust in her care.
Horrible doctor with terrible bedside manner. Saw her at Mt Sinai Er and misdiagnosed me and did not provide me with the proper medication.
Im very grateful for a wonderful Caring physician full of knowledge - than you !
I saw D. Bearss in the ER. She was patient and reassuring, explained things to me, and also asked and used my pronouns, which was so valuable to me as a trans person, and unfortunately rare for a doctor to ask. I presented with an urgent and scary problem, and she resolved my issue within half an hour. I left so relieved and thankful to have had her as the doctor who took my file in the ER.
Horrible doctor with poor bedside manners. On two different visits for two different issues, Dr. Bearss misdiagnosed both issues. When my blood pressure was 142/96, she said it was okay. Two days later blood pressure would not go down so went to a different hospital and the doctor could not believe Dr. Bearss told me a blood pressure of 142/96 was okay. The other time I saw Dr. Bearss, I was having problems breathing. Dr. Bearss told me I had bronchitis and gave me antibiotics. Turns out I did not have bronchitis, I was having an asthma attack. This is a dangerous misdiagnosis on the part of Dr. Bearss. Also her bedside manner could use improving. In addition to being a doctor in the Mount Sinai ER, she is also a doctor at Mount Sinai Academic Family Health Team at 60 Murray Street. I would never see her again at either location. I wish I could give her 0 stars.
Dr. Bearss is the only person at Mt. Sinai ER who figured out the right drug for my migraine attacks. Every few years I end up in the ER for a migraine. Twice I was lucky enough to get Dr. Bearss, even though 4 years had passes. She rememberd me when she saw me becuase I respond to an atypical drug! She was warm, caring and ensured the nurses found me a bed to lay down in while we waited for the drug to kick in. She ensured my migraine was totally gone before discharging me from ER and wrote me a prescription incase it bounced back, but said if it got really bad I'd have to return because the only way I could get the magic drug was by IV! No matter, if she is not on duty I tell them the name of the drug and they dig up my chart and administer it. For a migraine suffered this is such a tremendous gift. Thank you!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
