The staff at Midwest are the best. They are quick to respond with any questions or comments. Dr. Lopez, has a wonderful "bedside manner" I had my knee replacement in May 2022, I have returned to work with full mobility. It was the best decision I ever made. Everyone in the office is so personable and pleasant. You can't go wrong with Midwest Sports Medicine!

I have had each knee replaced years ago—last spring had rotator cuff surgergy—therapy now! Dr Lopez is one of the best surgeons ever!! Good bed side manner and so on!!! He is highly recommended to anyone—even if you live far from his office, worth the drive!! Doctor Joe is another one—great doc as well—also good bed side manner!! Debbie is one of the best nurses ever—sweat heart!! The whole office is fantastic!! You have the best of both worlds—great office & doctors!!! So highly recommended!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Not a big guy by any means, 5'8, 162lbs, very fit when I had this surgery back in 2017. The incision was 9 inches to the side of my right hip. I asked his attending physicians why such a big cut. No good answer given. The reason I am writing this is after several years going back and forth seeing Dr. Lopez and complaining of my lack of ROM on my hip and having difficulty tying my shoe or crossing my leg or putting my socks on with no good answer why this is the case for me. I have spent many hours, days, weeks doing exercises, physical therapy to see if my ROM would improve. The results have been minor improvements. I was told that BHR would give me more mobility. Still struggle with tying my shoes, crossing my leg, or have hard time with other motions which I did not have before the surgery. Saw other Orthopedic surgeons for a second opinion and they can see that I am stuck. They refer me back to Dr. Lopez. Xrays look good but something else is off. No answers, very disappointed!

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The visit was for a checkup on my 2 resurfaced hips. These replacements will last me the rest of my life. Dr Lopez is a great Surgeon.

Absolutely fine doctor & surgeon ... hubby & I have both seen him for various doctoring - I've had knee trouble for years & years but now I'm repaired & walking great! At 75 yrs ... I'm happy to be nearly totally pain free & walking again up/down stairs with ease! Thanks! Staff is wonderful ... Dr. Lopez is wonderful (and funny) ... and no more appointments for another year!

I am so pleased I choose Dr. Lopez to do my total knee replacement. He and his entire staff are so wonderful to work with. They are all so caring. If I were to need any other surgery, Dr. Lopez is the only doctor I would consider.
