LOVE this place so much! Dr. Thobani is a gem: She always takes the time to explain everything thoroughly, never rushes, and is the kind of person you wish you could be friends with. You leave there with a better understanding of your eye health, great resources, and killer frames/lenses. I no longer live in Chicago but still choose to have my annual exam here when I'm visiting!

Dr T is great. I don’t normally chat, just get in and out but her personality and general vibes of “I care” made a difference. Front of house was great as well!! I hope my insurance keeps them in network so I can continue going back!

While the space is modern and inviting, Dr. Thobani is what earns ECBD five stars. During my exam, she thoroughly explained what each exercise was testing and what my performance on each indicated. I felt heard when I expressed my questions and concerns, and trusted Dr. Thobani when she told me she could actually do something about the dry eyes I’ve experienced my entire life. I saw Dr. Thobani for 4 rounds of RF treatment and noticed a huge improvement. She made the process comfortable and easy, and I looked forward to going every 2 weeks! An excellent doctor, but also a really excellent person. Cannot recommend this ECBD enough!

Absolutely loved this place! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warm smiles and welcomes. The professionalism is top notch and I genuinely felt like I was being taken care of on all ends. From the eye exam to selecting the right pair of glasses, every step was effortless and easy. No pressure or stress and tons of patience for me as I take forever to pick something! I can’t wait for my glasses to come in! Glad I found my new optometrist in Chicago! Highly recommend!

IPL laser today for a chalazeon and blocked glands. Helping already and well worth it for some relief. Dr Thobani is very kind and considerate and got me in on very short notice. Parking was easy and right on the block. Office is clean and secure. She even sent me a text to see how I was doing a few hours after the appointment, and to remind me of my at home care.

Dr T……she has given me the clearest prescription I’ve seen in years. Her office is beautiful and state of the art. The technology in her office is innovative and a clear differentiation from other offices in the area. She is a wonderful addition the area and I’ll certainly be back while highly recommending her.
