Despite having to change doctors due to an unpleasant consultation, the Front desk, nurses, ultrasound and the phlebotomy team have been spectacular! This team is very communicative and patient. They are on time and extremely helpful when planning something that can feel quite overwhelming. As a patient, I’m sure you are an advocate for yourself with this big undertaking, but ultimately would refer Clinic to my peers.

I initially posted a review in 2009, when I was trying to get pregnant. I came across it today and thought I should update it to say that I eventually was successful, largely because of a technique that at the time was called CGH. At age almost 43, I gave birth to a baby who is now finishing up sophomore year in high school. Not sure if Kaplan is still in practice there, but he did not sugarcoat anything, which is why he was the ideal RE for me.

I first came to FCI in 2022 and had a successful fully medicated embryo transfer that resulted in my now almost 3-year-old child. Fast forward to 2026, I was unhappy with the care I was receiving elsewhere and decided to transfer my remaining embryos to FCI. This time, I underwent a modified natural frozen embryo transfer (FET), and once again, the experience exceeded my expectations. Because of past medical trauma, my husband accompanied me to every appointment. From the very beginning, the team at FCI made us feel comfortable and supported. The front desk staff were welcoming, efficient, and always kind. They consistently made us feel valued and cared for. The ultrasound technicians were outstanding. They were compassionate, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything thoroughly. They even went above and beyond to help educate me and answer questions I had throughout the process. The phlebotomists were wonderful as well—quick, gentle, and always greeted us with a smile, making blood draws as painless as possible. Avery and Ashley, my nurses, were fantastic. They communicated promptly, kept me informed every step of the way, and never left me waiting for important updates or results. Most importantly, Dr. Nguyen was exceptional. He was personable, thorough, patient, and genuinely invested in my care. He took the time to discuss all possible outcomes and options “just in case,” which helped me feel informed and prepared. His professionalism and compassion made a tremendous difference throughout the process. Having had two successful pregnancies through FCI, each achieved through different treatment approaches, I can confidently say that I am incredibly grateful for the care I received. I have absolutely no complaints and cannot recommend FCI highly enough. Thank you to the entire team for helping grow our family.

My husband and I cannot say enough wonderful things about fertility centers of Illinois-Mokena and the incredible team that helped us throughout our journey. From our very first appointment, we were treated with kindness, compassion, and professionalism. Our Dr.; Dr. Go, Nurse; Montanna, and staff members made us feel supported and cared for during what can be an emotional and challenging process. The entire team was always responsive, knowledgeable, and willing to answer questions, helping us feel informed and confident every step of the way. Their dedication to their patients is evident in everything they do. After two years of fertility treatments, we are thrilled to finally be expecting our baby, and we will forever be grateful for the role this clinic played in helping us achieve our dream of becoming parents. The care, encouragement, and expertise we received made all the difference. If you are looking for a fertility clinic that truly cares about its patients and goes above and beyond to provide exceptional care, I highly recommend them. They have changed our lives, and we will never forget the incredible support they provided throughout our journey.

I cannot say enough good things about FCI River North and Dr. Nguyen! The staff and nurses were extremely friendly and accommodating and Dr. Nguyen was an absolute pleasure to work with. He made me feel at ease, seen, and heard. For the initial consult, we spent about an hour together (which is unheard of!), which made me feel very comfortable scheduling my procedure. So lucky to have worked with such an expert for my endometriosis removal - I cannot recommend him enough!

Dealing with the clinic was worse than any injections. It’s a money grab and they do not care it’s a stressful experience - they will overcharge and try to slip extra fees past you no matter what they say the cost is in the hopes you are distracted and will not notice duplicative charges.

Helped me build my family after years of treatment up and downs and failures elsewhere. Dr. Nguyen, specifically, and his dedicated team are the absolute best. Dr. Sax and Dr. Go were also very kind and helpful along the way.

My experience with FCI was wonderful. Everyone on the staff - from the front desk team to the techs, nurses, and doctors - was incredibly welcoming and made a difficult journey feel much more manageable and comforting. My path was not straightforward, including two IVF cycles that ultimately had to be converted to IUI, but it resulted in a successful pregnancy, and I could not be more grateful to my care team. The transparency throughout the process, along with the close monitoring and consistent communication, helped put me at ease during what can be a very scary and uncertain experience. Dr. Go and my nurse, Montanna, were especially amazing. They answered every question with patience and compassion and always made sure I understood the next steps. I’m so thankful to the entire team at FCI for their support and care throughout this journey.

I cannot say enough good things about my experience at FCI River North. From the moment you walk in, the environment is welcoming and kind, which helps so much during what can be a stressful time. I especially want to give a huge shout-out to Montanna, who is hands-down the best nurse! She is always so warm and genuinely kind. No matter how busy the clinic is, she always takes the time to answer every single one of my questions with patience and care. Having someone like her in your corner makes all the difference.

I keep getting the same bill over and over. It's already been paid. I have called repeatedly, supposedly it's taken care of. Except the invoices keep coming, and now they are threatening collections. This place is terrible at paperwork. Prepare to do your own leg work too with your insurance if you ever want to any kind of treatment. It took 6 months before I figured out they don't care if you actually get your medicine, call the insurance yourself to see what's covered. I liked my nurse very much, she was very prompt to respond. There's also one phlebotommist so fabulous at her job you can't even the needle. The receptionist saved the day for me whwn I called in a panic with details that no one had given me previously. They get 5 stars separately.
