They were able to keep my son calm and happy where other dentists had failed, and unlike a lot of other providers, seemed to want to do the "right thing" rather than whatever maximizes bills. Hats off to Dr. Amanda and the team!

We recently took our 4 year old and 2 year old to Floss Academy, and I cannot say enough good things about our experience! Not only is the space absolutely beautiful, but Dr. Amanda was truly amazing with both of my kids. I was especially nervous about my 2 year old because she normally hates doctor appointments, and honestly, I would have bet my life savings that she wouldn’t even open her mouth. But Dr. Amanda made the entire experience so fun, calm, and inviting that both of my kids did amazing! She took the time to show them all of the tools and explain everything she was going to do beforehand, which made them feel so comfortable and involved. The office is incredibly kid friendly! They have TVs on the ceiling so kids can watch their favorite Disney shows or movies during the appointment, plus fun sunglasses they can wear while getting their teeth checked. You can tell they really put thought into making dental visits a positive experience for children. We honestly can’t wait to go back, and I would highly recommend Floss Academy to anyone looking for a pediatric dentist office!

We had a great experience at this pediatric office! My son saw Dr. Amanda and she was wonderful — very kind, patient, and attentive. The staff was also friendly and made us feel comfortable from the moment we walked in. Highly recommend this office for anyone looking for a caring pediatrician!

This place is awesome! Very clean and new with all the bells and whistles (tvs on the ceilings for the kiddos). Dentist and staff were both very friendly. My kids also loved this nice touch with their names written on the blackboard in the waiting room:

Floss Academy made my son’s first dental visit an amazing experience! The staff was warm, patient, and incredibly kind, making him feel comfortable from the moment we walked in. They turned what could have been a scary experience into something fun and positive. Highly recommend to any parent looking for a caring, professional dental team! Dr. Derick is the best!

Very easy first dentist appointment for my 2.5yo. Doctor was very thorough and quick

I highly recommend Dr. Deric, especially for a child’s first visit. We’ve been bringing our daughter since she was two, and today was my son’s first appointment. He usually puts up a fight at routine pediatrician checkups and won’t even let us brush his teeth, so I only scheduled him today, expecting it to be exhausting and planning to bring my daughter next week—but to my surprise, the visit went amazingly well. Dr. Deric is so patient and great with kids—he really takes the time to talk to them and make them feel comfortable. The TV on the ceiling definitely helps, too. I was shocked my son even let him floss his teeth. Since his visit went so smoothly, they were able to squeeze my daughter in last minute as well. Both kids left happy and excited about their goody bags and gumball machine prizes.
