Exemplary in every way. Clear communication, kind and funny. I was stressed and scared before surgery but Dr. Dunford managed to alleviate my fears and help me relax. Post-operatively, I am well on the way to recovery and will always be grateful to him and his fantastic team for their excellent care.

I have worked with many amazing Doctors, yet Dr. Dunford has impressed me not only as a skilled surgeon, but as a person that truly cares for his patients and their families. He goes out of his way to provide care and comfort. He truly understands his patients’ fears and concerns and he takes as much time as necessary to answer every question. I’m so grateful that Dr. Dunford was the surgeon on call the night I brought my Brother to the ED that required an unexpected surgery. Thanks to Dr. Dunford and his team my Brother had a very positive outcome. Highly recommend!

Dr. Dunford is an unusually compassionate doctor. When my fiancé had his appendix removed, Dr. Dunford went out of his way to not only make my fiancé feel comfortable, but me comfortable as well. I have never met a physician who genuinely cares so much about his patients. I truly cannot recommend him enough.

He was totally invested in my health and well-being, and approached the problems I had from a wholistic perspective, providing me with the care and treatment I needed. In May 2020 I had double inguinal hernia surgery by one of the surgeons in this group. I had complications immediately after the surgery and had a good deal of discomfort for months after. I made an appointment with one of the other doctors who had a great bed side manner and was genuinely focused on my issue. He set up imagining to see if there was still a hernia present. Where things went downhill with Dr Gerrit Dunford is on a subsequent appointment we made a plan moving forward and then it was as if I no longer existed. He never contacted me about results of my imaging. There was no follow up after 2 messages left and an email. He even said in my last appointment that I should call him next week to remind him about a certain action plan we were moving forward on. The office is not very proactive with their patients. If you are looking for a hands off approach where you are following up constantly with them, then this is your doctor to visit.

Dr Dunford has been wonderful taking care of my daughter. He has an excellent bedside manner. He is very knowledgeable and explains her ongoing care and surgery in easy to understand terms. We highly recommend him.

Dr. Dunford is an excellent and caring physician who prioritizes the need to spend time with his patients and their families. He put our fears at ease. He was available when it counted, and he helped our daughter through a very difficult time. He fulfills the three A’s of being a good physician: availability, affability, and ability.
