Excellent surgeon and excellent on taking you through your recovery

This has been my best surgical experience to date… the entire staff from my first doctor office visit, the surgery itself, follow up, to six month check up has been professional, considerate, efficient, and kind.Dr. Garrigues has an incredible staff and he is the most personable doctor I’ve ever met as well as obviously very good at putting shoulders back together! Every follow up visit came with X-rays which was very reassuring to me. During a follow up visit I had several questions, even though both of us were standing, he had us both sit down - he was willing to give me the time to address my concerns.When I saw his online video of how he felt about his patients, I thought “that’s who I want taking care of me” - I was not disappointed.

This was my second visit we’re I walked in not being able to lift my arm without excruciating pain and walked out without pain and with my range of motion back!!! I would never trust any other doctor. He is the best!!!

After I smashed my shoulder in a fall, Grant Garrigues repaired it with a reverse shoulder surgery. In our first meeting Dr. Garrigues assured me that after the surgery and diligent physical therapy I would be able to resume kayaking and playing pickle ball. Promises made, promises kept. After a six month rehab I am back enjoying my favorite summer pastimes! Dr. Garrigues is not just a superb surgeon— he and his PA Elle are knowledgeable, caring and empathetic. They fully explained the surgery and recovery beforehand. Any time I called with a question during my recovery, I got a callback within hours. I highly recommend Dr. Garrigues and his team at Midwest Orthopedics.
