Dr Lopez has been taking care of my back for over 15 years!!! I now live in Michigan n driven to the Chicago area just to see him! He is an outstanding Doctor and surgeon!! I will not have anyone else take care of my back!! HisPersonality is great n he is down to earth and can easily be talked to!! And he wears the most outrageous stocks n I love them!!!

The waiting room was busy. The office personal were professional, helpful. There was a wait but Dr. Lopez is worth waiting for!Dr. Lopez is a consummate professional. Clearly knows his area of expertise. Friendly, confident, affable, good job of explaining my condition, despite it not being easily diagnosed. Previous Kyphoplasty had left my lumbar spine unstable & Dr. thinks this is causing the chronic pain & sciatic issues. He has assured me that there is further treatment if the steroids don’t relieve the pain. So far, NO PAIN! I wd recommend Dr. Lopez wholeheartedly!

This year, I decided to finally take care of a back problem that had hampered me for years. I was unable to stand for more than a couple of minutes or sit in a hard chair for any length of time. I am 75 years old. And should have done this 5 years ago. The decision was made much easier by consulting with Dr. Lopez. His friendly, 'down to earth' demeanor enabled me to relax and be forthcoming with all the issues that I was experiencing. He allowed me to take my time with my decision, but reinforced the fact that it wouldn't get better on it's own. After all, that's why I came to see him. So after a few bothersome days in the hospital, I went home and was encouraged by Doctor Lopez to walk. Walk and walk more. Some restrictions, so that the spine would heal correctly. In the post op visits, he explained, to me, why I couldn't do the things I felt like I could do. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Lopez. So I will end by saying, I highly recommend him.

I highly recommend Dr Lopez. I had a SI joint fusion back in May of 2023 and at my 5 month post op appt I told him he performed a miracle. I had many years prior to surgery where just getting out of bed was difficult. Had pain that radiated down my leg, since surgery, leg & back pain gone. Dr. Lopez is very professional and you can tell he genuinely cares for his patients.

10. Dr. Lopez is a great doctor! He’s very understanding and listens to your concerns. He takes time with the patient to help them with their health issues! I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a spine specialist.

Dr Lopez is very professional. He seems to genuinely care about his patients and their well being. He is straight forward, honest with you, is very down to earth and friendly. I first saw him many years ago when he was just starting out and once again just recently. It’s so great to see that he’s still as down to earth now as he was then. I highly recommend him for your needs. He s well worth it.

I’m encouraged after my first visit. I like the Doctor’s conservative approach. I’m confident I will regain my quality of life soon.
