Great service and took care of rimless lens replacements with new prescription

My experience is always top notch. Everyone is incredibly friendly and helpful. Nancy always goes out of her way to make sure you are getting what you need. She always greets me with a big smile and is eager to answer my questions. I would definitely recommend Halsted Eye Boutique.

After several years with the same eyewear store, staff changes made me go on the search for a fresh experience. I visited several stores but just didn't get an engaging experience. Then I found it! Halsted Eye Boutique in Chicago is absolutely outstanding. Immediately upon entering you realize that it's going to be a favorable experience. The high-end and comfy waiting area furniture is welcoming and begins your experience with a relaxed vibe. The boutique has a fantastic selection of stylish, high-quality frames and cutting-edge diagnostic equipment, so the whole experience feels modern, professional and yet very personal. The optometrist was thorough, making me feel confident about my prescription. In my case, I had a particular designer frame in mind. Jake D. and Angie N. immediately embraced the style I was looking for and ended up special ordering a frame so that I got exactly the style and look I wanted, even accepting my insurance on a frame (while they did carry the designer brand) that was not in the store. THANK YOU! They did a fantastic job explaining my lens options and helped me make the perfect choice. Returning to collect my new glasses, again, a great experience. Both Jake and Angie went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. I am also still very fond of frames from two years ago that I wore into the store but they needed some TLC. Jake and Angie both worked on an adjustment, replacing a screw, and making sure that I had a perfect fit with both my new and old (now back-up) glasses. This is a long review but I can't say enough about how attentive ALL the team members were and how valued I felt when I left Halsted Eye Boutique (Halstead Street store) with the perfect glasses and a lasting positive impression. I've been a client for close to 5 years, and am ALWAYS treated with warmth and respect, AND . . . with skill and thoroughness. Today I stopped in to drop off a pair of vintage glasses that needed an ear piece fixed, and walked out 15 minutes later with not just that pair in perfect shape, but the pair I wore in adjusted, AND . . . because I'm a client, no charge. You don’t need glasses or contacts to see how great Halsted Eye Boutique is. I had a new patient exam and it was nothing short of a wonderful experience. Booking an appointment was quick and easy. The communication beforehand was great as I tend to forget I booked appointments. The front desk person, Nat, was welcoming and helped me with all of my new patient forms. My tech, Dayam, was the sweetest! She made sure I was comfortable and explained all the tests performed. Dr. Tracy Becherer was professional, kind, and thorough. She answered all of my questions with such care and could tell she puts in the same type of effort towards all of her patients. Overall my experience was positive! I would recommend this place (or their other office in Ravenswood) to all! Shoutout to the amazing team for making my appointment a great time!

I love this place. Cannot recommend it enough. I’ve been a patient for 3 years, with 3 different insurances and I’ve never really had an issue here. They’re all fantastic if you’re having an eye related emergency that doesn’t warrant going to the ER. I love my eye doctor, Dr. Katz and the staff there have been really kind and helpful. I only write reviews about places that really tick me off or places I love, so this place really is a great eye doctor.

I came in with a painful corneal abrasion and the team did such an exception job caring for me. They went as far as placing me in a room with the lights off as my eyes were extremely sensitive to light at the time. Dr. Patel was also so sweet and gave me all the reassurance as I asked her many questions.

I had a great experience. Was looking for a good eye doctor in the area after moving downtown. Was in and out quickly, the staff was very friendly, and Dr. Slusky was the best. Highly recommend if you are looking for a new eye doctor in the area.

Really nice and painless eye examination experience. The staff were extremely nice, patient, and supportive as well. I felt like I was in good hands!
