Was late for my appointment for 8 mins on 05.06.2022 with Doctor Prus and had only 2 questions which would take basically 3 mins.Turned away by the check in clerk. Wasn’t even my fault, took 15 mins to get referral order from downstairs. Didn’t receive any type of check calls or anything if I am still coming.

Dr. Prus has been my orthopedist since 2017. He's an excellent physician who truly cares for and has his patient's best interest in mind. He is very straightforward, sensitive & always provides several options for treatments. His assistant, Lily is amazing and 2nd to none! She too, is very considerate, kind and caring and treats patients with the utmost respect. She is extremely thorough and goes above and beyond when assisting patients with follow-up appointments, paperwork and anything else that will help along with their care and progress. Together, Dr. Prus and Lily are a world-class team, that I HIGHLY recommend!!!

Dr. Prus is a nice doctor, but his medical assistant, Lily, called me to say I'm not going to be able to see Dr. Prus anymore because I missed my appointment with him. Who is she to determine whether or not I can see Dr. Prus because of missing one appointment? When I asked her to have him call me so I can explain what was going on with me, she refused. I then informed Lily that I will be making another appointment with Dr. Prus, and she started that my appointment would be canceled. Who made her trial and juror? I'm I only seen as money to be made and not as a person, a human being, in pain and need of service? I'm on hold now to let her know how I feel. If this is what healthcare is all about then some changes need to be made and quickly! It's bad enough that Black patients already feel discriminated against within the medical community and are the reason why we are skeptical and distrustful of doctors( some, and to have a medical assistant call me up in a rude and nasty tone saying, Dr. Prus doesn't want to see me anymore is beyond unprofessional, rude, and not good patient care.

My experience with Dr Prus has been incredible. He took his time to listen to my concerns, understood my limitations, and gave me a treatment plan that worked for me. I recieved injections using the ultrasound machine, I'm sure it's what made the injection precise and work so great. I hope to not have anymore injuries, but will definitely come back to him if needed in the future.
