We have been through fertility treatment in many places to have our first child and now on our journey for our second. Fertility treatment is of course expensive and care is individual but if a places refuses to tell you the price of any of their procedures (iui, ultrasound, monitoring, ivf package or the individual procedures in ivf) that is a huge RED FLAG for us as it means they want to bring you in, charge you just to talk about what you are planning and the costs. I understand why they want to do this it's so they can establish a relationship with you and in the moment when you have already made the appointment come in spent time talking about everything, made a plan for treatment that makes you feel you have a chance for a baby, then they will start to order testing and then drop the price on you. It's very difficult to say no at that point in person when you so desperately need/want something and they have made you feel comfortable and that they can give it to you... however this is not transparency and as more then 50% of people must pay out of pocket this practice of refusing to give even the basic cost of procedures is manipulation at best. It's common knowledge that medical treatment is never guaranteed to go exactly the way you expected it to go. That is absolutely not a justification to not provide the information on what they charge for a specific service or procedure when directly asked without having to pay a fee to get that info with a healthy dose of emotional manipulation on the side. I hope this is helpful for others. It's just our perspective on the industry and lots of places do this but more no longer do this and are transparent if you ask specifically and you understand it can require other services or treatments that are separate costs.

Dr. TurKaspa is my miracle doctor. After trying to conceive for over 5 years, 3 doctors later, laparoscopic surgery, 1 IUI, 7 IVF’s, I finally found DR. TurKaspa and he made my dream come true. I wish I would have found Dr. TurKaspa sooner and could have avoided all the procedures and time wasted. I did 3 rounds of IVF at IHR and had around 9 eggs retrieved each time but ended with only 1 viable embryo which was frozen. During each egg retrieval, medication was adjusted. My 2nd egg retrieval had 1 viable egg which ended with a successful 3CC embryo but I tried a 3rd time to see if I could get 1 more embryo. I did pre-genetic testing and had a grade 3CC. I transferred my one and only viable embryo 1 year later after being frozen and was pregnant. My previous doctor advised on getting an egg donor and said that would be my only chance of having a child. I went with my gut, did my research and found Dr. TurKaspa who gave me hope of using my own eggs. Thanks to Dr. Cohen for doing my egg retrieval and Dr. TurKaspa for doing my embryo transfer with success. The whole staff is very nice and made me feel so comfortable. IVF is costly anywhere you go but this facility will do there best to make your dreams come true. You have a separate financial team that will provide a breakdown of all costs. You have the best doctors here. I now have a healthy baby girl born 5/28/22 weighing 7lbs, 9oz. I would recommend IHR to anyone.

It’s me again. I just finished my consult with Dr. TK and we are ready to go for our third (and hopefully final) transfer. He has already given me two babies and now it is time for our family to be complete with the third. He is a miracle worker and I am so grateful that I went to IHR. It took a few cycles to get some PGS normalEmbryos so please stick with it and keep the faith if you are reading this review.

Our IVF journey spanned over 9 years across 3 clinics, with 5 REs and 9 IVF Cycles total - close to 120 total eggs extracted, out of which 36 fertilized and 3 embryos made it to day 5 blastocyst stage, 2 embryos had late blastocyst on day 7…ended up with 3 embryos (2 day 5 and 1 day 7) normal PGT results - only the two “day 5 blastocyst normal pgt result” embryos got implanted - both with Dr. Tur-Kaspa, one in 2015 and another in 2021. First of all, any family going through this process requires big hugs and huge applause - it’s a big strain on family, mind and body - and the expenses. While there are many practices across US who showcase their successes, our journey with Northwestern, CCRM, FCI and IHR revealed something critical that we hope will help anyone starting this crucial journey, which is your RE matters and that every family case is different and challenging in its own way. Dr. Tur-Kaspa comes up with patient-specific protocol grounded in research - keep faith!

Dr. Tur-Kaspa was amazing from our initial consultation up until the day I got pregnant, which all happened within a short period of time! I honestly don't know if anyone could have done this process faster and better than he did. I had my initial consultation with him in late February and by the end of June I was already pregnant! Wonderful experience with him and the entire staff at IHR and we will definitely be back for our second child! Highly recommend!!
