List of Invia Fertility Specialists - Chicago's Reviews
We chose this clinic because the location is right next to us. However, this Chicago location is often closed and they had us drive all the way multiple times a month to Hoffman estates just for a blood draw and ultrasound that can be done in 5 minutes. It’s very difficult during work days when the round trip is 3 hours, we only have one car and the oil prices are rising. We wouldn’t choose this clinic if we knew we had to make all those 3 hour trips.
This fertility clinic has truly meant so much to me. Dr. Iko is an exceptional doctor—she genuinely listens to every concern, never dismisses questions, and always makes me feel heard, understood, and cared for. In a journey that can feel overwhelming and emotional, her compassion and attentiveness make all the difference. The staff is equally wonderful, especially Hannah, the patient navigator. She is incredibly responsive, always answering messages quickly and thoughtfully, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks. Her support has been constant and reassuring. I’m deeply grateful for this entire team and highly recommend this clinic to anyone looking for compassionate, attentive fertility care.
I went here in 2024 and Dr. Luu was extremely pessimistic regarding my treatment options. It was apparently due to my age, but all of my tests came back above average, which made the experience all the more confusing. After a series of tests, some of which were extremely painful, it was time to undergo the IVF treatment. I could not proceed with the treatment due to their scheduling snafu and excuse that their "lab was closed for the holidays." This was close to the end of the year and my insurance deductible was fully met which was frustrating to me. They said that we could start early in the new year and I never heard from them again. Granted, I could have followed-up, but I chose not to due to the pessimistic and disappointing nature of my visits which ultimately dissuaded me from proceeding at that facility. It is now the end of 2025 and I am receiving bills for services provided in August 2024. Based on my understanding and my insurance, most services were covered, so it is not clear why I am receiving bills so late, let alone at all. I would assume that InVia is requiring expensive and unnecessary genetic lab testing that is not billed correctly to the insurance company and then becomes the patient's responsibility. I'm very disappointed with my experience here and only chose it because it was the closest facility that was in-network. The only saving grace were a couple of nurses who were very sweet when performing the invasive procedures, hence the extra star.
After a long fertility journey, I’m overjoyed to finally be expecting a baby boy! With the help of Dr Karande and his amazing team, who was with me every step of the way, i have graduated. There were painful moments, disappointing moments and moments of pure joy, after seeing my ultrasound images. I couldn’t have done this without their kindness, patience, and care.Truly forever grateful!
Dr.Sigal and her team are great and we are so grateful for them. My husband and I have very good experience with them so far. I higly recommend any location of Invia Fertility! The communication is very good, clear and they are on top of any issues or concerns you have about your health. They don't push you with anything you are not comfortable with. They try to understand and follow your lead and your health history! Appointments are on time as well! They do care about their patients and not just about your money! We are thankful to start this journey with Invia Fertility! Thank you so much guys for all your help, hard work and care. May God bless you all!
They are very inflexible with scheduling and the nurses are rude and incompetent. They sent me the instructions for 1 pill progesterone although I was taking 3 pills per day. They didn’t schedule my FET appointment till the day before, which was Sunday although they knew it would be next Monday on previous Monday. I had a new job and begged for 1st appointment, I was told FET is not a priority. I begged for the last appointment and I was told the Dr won’t wait if she has fewer patients. The appointment was very inconvenient for me but they refused to change the time and I was threatened that the embryo would be frozen again if I was late. Refreezing and thawing is bad for the embryo. Also for FET, I was taking Valium but they sent me instructions without Valium and never sent the instructions with Valium. Further, Embryology was not reachable on weekend making me more anxious before my Monday FET. Also, the Chicago office is open only MON-Thursday. Fri-Sun you have to go to Hoffman estates or another location. IVF is done only in Hoffmann Estates but the monitoring can be done in Chicago. IUI can be done in Chicago too on Monday and Wednesday. They offer very early appointments, which helps scheduling around work. Appointments are available between 6:30-11 in Chicago and 6:40-11 in Hoffman Estates. Update: I got pregnant with first FET, so I am adding a star. The embryo was euploid and I had good uterine lining. Dr Luu didn’t avoid working on weekend. Also, Monica the ultrasound technician in Chicago is very good. She is very gentle with blood draws and ultrasound and doesn’t make you wait whether you go early, late or go to Chicago with an appointment in different location.
I wish I could have said I even made it to my appointment. Saying I had the worst experience with the Crystal Lake Office is an understatement. I chose this office after hearing the positive reviews of Dr. Karande. After the first interaction I had with the front desk woman when I arrived, early for my appointment, was an embarrassment. Not only this office, every person in healthcare and an insult to every Mom to be. Clearly she has been allowed to speak disrespectfully to patients for far too long. I felt bad for the office staff behind this woman that they probably hear this woman berate others who are going through a very sensitive and emotional time. She needs better training and education on how to kindly and respectful speak to women who are struggling with fertility. She does not belong in this field. Many women carry this emotional weight daily and to be told that my appointment will be significantly shorter because I didn’t get the lab work completed prior to my consultation. Which I was unaware of. Makes me continue to feel that my infertility is all my fault. No woman who ever feel like this. I received a call 18 minutes before my appointment, as I was turning into the parking lot, by a very sweet nurse asking if I had my labs for the appointment. As I shared I didn’t know I needed for this consultation but I’ll be in the office in 2 minutes. I enter in and the nurse I spoke to was there and very kind while the old sad excuse for a receptionist told me to sit down. Since I’m early and in no rush, I’ve waited so long for this appointment I was totally chill and took a seat. She started barking at me from behind her desk. Startled me because there was no real greeting. For multiple minutes she berated and railed into me that I should have had labs and an ultrasound done. I told her that I understand that he may not be able to share much with me but I was unaware. And to be honest almost 2 years of trying.. what’s 1 more month as long as I am on the right path. I got this phone call a 1:41 for an appointment at 2pm. She had me shaking and so upset I was uncontrollably crying. I have never had anyone in my life that should be a medical professional speak to me in the manner. By 1:55 I just couldn’t take it anymore and told her I would wait in my car for the appointment since the doctor was running late. I eventually calmed down and trusted my momma gut and decided absolutely not will I have someone speak to me that way nor will I support an office who believes her behavior is appropriate. I made a new appointment with another fertility doctor as I was fueled with determination. I walked back in and told her to let the Dr. know when he arrives that I will not be continuing with my appointment or this practice because of her. She sent me off with a ‘good luck on your journey’- I will with absolutely no credit to her insensitive and ignorant comments. I wasn’t going to give this company a minute more of my time but I was livid. I decided to call and make a formal complaint so just someone else is aware of this awful woman’s actions and the hope that no other patient will ever have to experience what I and I would image many other caring, loving soon to be moms have had to be subjected to. I called and spoke to a front desk person who was working from home.. she was nice and was going to connect me to a ‘regional manager’ I was sent to a billing mailbox. Clearly that’s not the manager. So I hang up and call back. I get another office who answers and says they will connect me to this manager and I sat on hold for 20 minutes. Absolutely unacceptable but clearly that must be a standard with this practice. Mamas beware- choose another practice. Sending you all baby dust! (And wishes for a better experience)
Said we couldn’t make an IVF appt without a referral even though we had no issues with at another clinic we ended up using
I keep calling but nobody answers
Dr Luu and her team were wonderful to work with

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
