List of Irena Mulla Md's Reviews
I only saw her once Irene Mulla, M.D. second visit I was lated it was only ten or fifteen minutes, but I sat out there for my first visit and she was late, I hope she can help me and not waste my time
This doctor just doesn't care
Good Doctor! Good Endocrinologist in the Chicago area. Before I visited her my blood sugar level was above 300 and later it stayed around 90 to 150.She prescribed me lots of good meds. I recommend to others people dealing with Type 2 and …. Thanks Dr Mulla Irena…
Dr Mulla is a Nice Lady and tho I have only seen her two or three times so far, all the visits have been wonderful.
Dr. Mulla is very polite and professional. Th wait time at the office is not long at all. The staff is great. Dr. Mulla is very caring, takes time to get to know the patient, and explains everything the patient needs to know.
Irena prestó atención a los detalles de mi tratamiento y me ayudo a recuperarme. ¡La recomiendo!
Unfortunately, the staff couldn't care less about the patients that come in there. All the staff does the absolute bare minimal and this unfortunately comes at the cost of the diabetic. I have gone multiple times without medical supplies because of negligence, I have found a new endo currently. If you are a type 1 diabetic and want involved card care, I would seek another facility. Period. This facility will barely get your basic needs met let alone involved care. The staff barely knows the difference between Humalog and other fast acting insulin. Receptionist will also mislead you regarding who is a supervisor and make what would be simple interactions, a more convoluted and frustrating experience. Even if you are the most knowledgeable diabetic with self-advocacy that only needs a doctor to fulfill blood work and renew prescriptions, BE ADVISED these people do not hold themselves with the same integrity that I hold for myself when it comes to my own health and well being. I am willing to commute 45 minutes to another endo when Irena Mulla's facility is within blocks from my apartment .
I’ve been with Dr. Mulla for a little over a year now and I really like her. She’s sweet, has great bedside manner, cares about my health and makes sure she answers any questions I may have. She never rushes my appointments and never has me waiting more than 5-10 minutes. She makes sure my medication is for me. I highly recommend her.
I saw Dr. Mulla over a month ago, when she said she was sending over my 3 prescriptions to the pharmacy. When I got home the pharmacy called me to tell me ONE prescription was ready and that they hadn't received any others. I called Dr. Mulla's office and she said she had sent all 3 over, but would send them again. Apparently she only sent 2 over this time. I called the office again and she said she had already sent them twice so I called the pharmacy and yet again they said they hadn't received my third prescription. It's now been over a month of back and forth calling and messaging Dr. Mulla's office and they still won't send my prescription over. I'm a type 1 diabetic so it's kind of ridiculous that this is happening. I'm switching doctors next month because I've had enough.
Be advised, Dr. Mulla is a doctor who only does the bare minimum to fulfill the obligations of her job, and does not listen to her patients if what they're saying falls outside that spectrum of bare minimum. If you need an endocrinologist that just does basic maintenance, she might do, but if you need an endocrinologist that listens when you're having unusual problems and explores solutions when the usual isn't effective, she will not be of any use.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
