Avulsion fracture of talus - Dr. Meisles saw me in the office for less than 5 minutes and told me 2 weeks for recovery. After three weeks, there was little improvement. I wanted to see Dr. Meisles in the office for a follow up, but was given PT instead. After three weeks of PT and little improvement, I called again to schedule an appointment for a follow up office visit and was told next available appointment a month away. I then called IBJI and they were able to get me in as a new patient within a week. Found out my injury has a 12 week recovery period. IBJI office visit was different than with Dr. Meisles. Dr. Daniel Dean took the time to exam my ankle and review X-Rays and discuss a treatment plan. Dr. Meisles is probably a good doctor - but his office availability is very limited.
You have ensured me the best possible service and it is your magic that has cured me! Thank you.May God always bless you, doctor. I appreciate your dedication for work. Kind Regards, Rahim Azarmizad
Upon arriving at office, i was told all paperwork is complete and was checked into room 3 by Dr Meiseles staff and handed a e pad tablet with beige frame. Staff opened a very fine print 3-4 page document and went to last page for me to sign. I told her that the front desk has complete info. She. Insisted for me to sign it. Dr Meiseles with Dr Meyers walked in and. commented that Dr Meyers has witnessed me sign. !!. He told me he is not going to examine me but asked his staff to set up a appt with Dr. Rieger , podaitrist. She gave appt for july 13, 2022 9.30 am. Very upsetting experience at both offices. Upon getting home, i called his office and asked the staff to e mail me the document.?. Later Meghan from his office called and promised to mail the document to me. I am waiting. I need to check the square below to be able to complete this process.
My first visit to Dr Meisles . Sat in the exam room 45 minutes pasted my appointment time . No one came to explain if doctor was running late or check on me . I finally had to go out and ask the nurse . Of coarse was told I was next what else can they say . Took another 10 minutes before seeing the doctor . By this time I was ready to leave and was not very vested in what the doctor had to say . What I thought would be 2 hours off from my job turned into almost 4 hours . Besides the fact they request you to come 15 before your appointment . That said he did prescribe some treatment . Just to be clear I understand appointments run long the doctor has an emergency etc…what was very unprofessional was being left alone in exam room for so long with no communication.
I have been a patient for 31 years. He is kind, compassionate. Listens to his patients and goes above and beyond. I broke my ankle 4 times over the years. I'd reccomend him to everyone. He did my last surgury. Quite some time ago. When I broke it. He was out of town and It was probably a intern or resident. Needless to say. It didn't heal right and Dr Meisles tok a lot of time on my ankle. I have marlin Monroe tattooed around my ankle. He took a lot of extra time in surgury and made sure he did a great job. I'd never go to anyone else. He is the st of the best.
Dr. Meisles performed an anterior approach total hip replacement on my elderly mother and her outcome was fantastic. She is now walking without any pain or assistive devices. He is a talented and caring orthopedic surgeon and we highly recommend him.
Dr. Meisles performed arthroscopic surgery on my knee 4 years ago to repair a torn meniscus. I had a perfect outcome, speedy recovery (golfed the day after), and I can’t give a higher recommendation than that. He performed the exact same surgery in the other knee with equally perfect results. His approach pre and post surgery and following up within the week after left plenty of room to ask questions, seek advice, and follow a game plan to success. Besides, he’s a really nice guy!
Dr. Meisles repaired a torn meniscus in my knee in 2017. My outcome was 100% perfect. Naturally when 4 years later, I experienced the same condition in my other knee, I sought treatment from him. Same thing - perfect outcome, walked 1/2 hour later, minimal pain/swelling, and back to normal by the next week. He's a talented surgeon with a caring demeanor and excellent staff. I give him the highest marks in every aspect of care.
My name is Edward C Straith I had knee replacement surgery due to an injury. Dr. Jeffery Meisles was my surgeon. From the first appointment with him he put me at ease, by his patience and complete explanation of what the damage was and how he would have to treat it. I would just like to say that all the treatment I received, from the receptionists, nurses, aides, technicians was exceptionally caring. When I came to Dr. Meisles I thought that I would never walk again, but due to his expertise skill and care I am glad to say I am walking again. God Bless You Dr. Meisles and your staff.
Dr.Meisles recently performed a total replacement of my right knee and I couldn't be happier. After 3 weeks I am almost back to normal. Had very little pain throughout the whole process, never exceeded a 2 or 3! Another surgeon, who has since retired, did my left knee 3 years ago but the recovery this time doesn't compare. I am way ahead now of where I was in the same time period 3 years ago. Would highly recommend Dr. Meisles if your looking to have surgery. His staff in the Elmhurst office is very efficient and made everything a breeze!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
