List of Joanne Davis Dpm's Reviews
Compassionate, caring and honest. Highly recommend,
Excellent doctor - knowledgeable, caring and a great conversationalist. We really enjoy our visits.
Dr Davis is my saving Angel.I love her as a Dr.She is so gentle and caring and she goes beyond her job...Best podiatrist I've ever met...
She is one of the most amazing doctors I already met in Chicago! I loved her and her dog - Raibow! Very grateful to her attention and kindness with me, all the time.
Dr. Davis is incredible and represents a different class of doctor. She will take the time to listen to what's bothering you, perform the examinations, and explain what she thinks is going on. She uses models and illustrations from medical textbooks to show you exactly what the issue likely is. There is nothing rushed about my visits with her. She genuinely cares about you and about helping get to the bottom of what's going on with your foot. If you're searching for a podiatrist, please see her. You will be glad that you did.
Honestly the best foot doctor ever.
very professional and sweet lady
I don't think I've been to a better doctor. I have had recurring issues with my sesamoid bones and while the prognosis with this issue isn't great, she really took the time to explain how several things specific to my own anatomy and physiology factored into this problem. She brought out several resources to show me including a medical textbook with pictures, and a model of the foot bones. She explained how every single thing from the way I walk, to the tightness of my Achilles, contributes to my sesamoid problem. This has opened my eyes and I'm now able to understand and fine tune certain physical activities as opposed to just being handed a sleeve with padding. She's really the best!!!
Dr Davis is knowledgeable, reassuring, professional. My 5 stars isn't earned easily, she is top notch.
This is my fourth pair of orthotics. BY FAR THE BEST set and experience with Dr Joanne. I will fly here, If I'm not living in Chicago the next time I need a new pair- bc these little things are just too important to get right. And she nailed it. My reg physician simply recommended her December, and so I just got lucky. I couldn't be happier. She was even able to run it through my insurance. Thank you. A) I'm a major fan of these little orthotics if you're on your feet a lot. If you're considering, do it, they really changed my life. And I'm not talking about those garbage dr schoals fake things at Walgreens- even the "custom" ones. I tried that once and they don't even register a .2 on the scale. I can't believe they legally get away with calling them 'orthotics' bc they're not. They're needless cushions. I recall when I lost (the L or R of) my first pair my set in my 20s. I didn't have the money to spend (certainly unnecessarily) on a new pair. I figured I didn't need them anymore because maybe I was "cured". Most obvious to me, I was no longer the active athlete I was in college and high school- it was an orthopedic sports surgeon who first prescribed these things to me. Anyway, I was just a normal person in my early 20s in dress shoes- why would I need orthotics anymore? I didn't last 2 months before that same pain I remembered on the basketball court started to creep back into my life. So I got my second pair in Orange County, still not convinced that it was the right call- and related to the discomfort I felt and sure enough, two days later all that pain was gone. I couldn't believe how night and day it was. I could suddenly work 18 hours straight on my feet and come home with enough energy to go for a run. Plus you're about a half inch taller in them which is never a bad thing. They work. And now I've seen 4 different ways to do this dance, and I can already tell these are the best. She was the best. I'm fired up about them and that's why I took this time to give her a good review! It's like having a brand new car for my LEGS. Not just my feet- in the summer time I prefer to go barefoot as often as possible or I'll go with flip flops for a couple days straight- but I start to feel the tightness in my ankles and particularly my calves and as high as my quads and hips start to get achy. And then I know it's time to throw on the docksiders with these things in them and sure enough the next morning my legs are on the mend and I can again rock the flip flops for a few more days if I want. B) Hopefully we won't have any injuries, but I'd certainly go to her with any foot issues we encounter in my family. No question. Very smart. In and out, so easy, the girl up front was nice as can be too. They totally won me over. Thank you.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
