Jonathan Hook's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Hook got me running when no other Dr. could, I can't thank him enough! I had daily pain in my ankle for years, that really affected my whole body. It's been 7 months since my surgery and all my old pain has gone away and I'm enjoying life again. Everyone in the office is so nice, I highly recommend Dr. Hook!

Following a vehicle collision on October 30 of 2021, my right ankle was severely dislocated and three inches of the fibula was crushed. Dr. Hook was the attending orthopedic surgeon at Trinity Advocate Hospital. While awaiting the swelling to decrease, a fracture blister had surfaced and there were concerns and reports that surgery would be delayed for outer-stabilization. Where some doctors would insist "it is what I said it would be", on November 01, 2021, Dr. Hook visited me in my hospital bed for a closer inspection and said, "I'm sure I can get in there" (around the blister without risking greater damage). The surgery was successfully completed November 02 -- the night My Greatest Love slipped away and crossed over... When it became obvious to me that my physical therapist (Integrity) was padding the billing, Dr. Hook went above and beyond to extend a referral for me to complete physical therapy with experts at (Midland Physical Therapy) who were very skilled and attentive. While Dr. Hook had later cheered my recovery efforts; facts are, without his humble and patient-centered approach, without his skills, expertise, without his professionalism, his understanding AND compassion...i do not know how far along I would have come.

Great Doctor, very patient, and an amazing Surgeon. Was with him for about a year and I can say very talented and very professional with all of his work.

Dr. Hook has been great helping me through the healing process of my ruptured Achilles. This was my first major injury/surgery and he has been assuring while also honest about my rehabilitation journey. He is very knowledgeable and walked me through everything from surgery, non-weight bearing, to finally restrengthening my Achilles. He made sure to temper my expectations knowing full well how a rushed rehabilitation could set me back to square one. Would highly recommend him to anyone in need of an orthopedic specialist.

I am so happy I met this physician. I broke my ankle which required surgery to repair the injury. I am 4-5 months out of surgery and I am feeling great. Highly recommend Dr.Hook!

I highly recommend Dr. Hook! He patiently listened to my problem and thoroughly explained to me what I need to do in the future. He took care of my issue and I feel great! His staff was super friendly and I like his location! 👍🏽

Dr. Hook is a great, competent, caring physician. He takes the time to totally examine any situation and determine what courses if treatment could be used. He answers all questions and discusses various treatment options. I had a great experience with him and would highly recommend him to anyone.
