Dr. Kaminska is an enthusiastic and caring physician. She has helped in reducing my hyperpigmentation and acne scars. The staff is kind and the office space is warm and comforting.
I do all my first facial cleaning here and it's excellent. Customer care, expert handling, follow ups and recommendations are at their best😀.
TL/DR: HIPAA VIOLATIONS. LONG WAIT TIMES. UNPROFESSIONAL STAFF. POOR SUPPORT. DO NOT RECOMMEND. 👎👎👎 The office NEVER answers the phone and callbacks take at least 1 business day. Dr. Kaminska routinely runs behind schedule (expect wait times of >30-45min past the scheduled appointment time). Vulgar music is often played over waiting room speakers (song lyrics have included sexual innuendo, n-word, etc.). Very unprofessional and offensive! FYI: staff don’t wear masks nor is mask-wearing enforced for patients; Seems a bit irresponsible with rising COVID/Influenza/RSV numbers. Office/administrative staff is comprised of ill-informed, unprofessional and lowly educated staff who lack knowledge of basic industry standards regarding patient privacy and professional conduct. In fact, for months, the office did not have a proper patient-facing privacy policy. Dr. Edidiong Kaminska herself was unfamiliar with key aspects of HIPAA that apply to physician offices. The practice seems to be in some sort of “kickback” arrangement with smaller local pharmacies. Dr. Edidiong Kaminska repeatedly and aggressively pushes to have prescriptions sent to a local pharmacy because “it’s cheaper for “insurance purposes” - complete lies! 🙄 I’ve repeatedly informed the physician and the staff that my scripts should only be sent to the designated CVS or to the mail-order pharmacy in-network with my insurance. Furthermore, I explained that my out-of-pocket maximum for my insurance was already met, so there was no benefit/savings in having scripts sent to this “specialty pharmacy” that she was peddling. Their Privacy Policy explicitly states “We will call the pharmacy of your choice regarding your prescription.” Yet, the practice sent my prescription (along with other protected health information) to a “specialty pharmacy” without my knowledge or consent - a clear HIPAA VIOLATION and violation of their own stated policy. The specialty pharmacy then botched fulfillment of said prescription and committed further HIPAA violations with its unauthorized disclosure of my protected health information to other entities. When I attempted to obtain support concerning the prescription, the practice staff Fabiola stated she would call in 15min; 3 days later, I still hadn’t heard from her. E-mails and phone messages have gone unaddressed. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. DO NOT RECOMMEND.
