Dr Kathleen Weber has exceptional expertise in her field, along with a caring, thoughtful, and compassionate approach. I have been an athlete all my life, and she is the most outstanding physician I have met, and I have experienced care for sports injuries all my life, in various countries around the world. Dr Weber’s humility is impressive and deeply appreciated, considering she is well known in Chicago, in the US, and around the world. I am grateful for the care she provides. Her skills & passion in the field have allowed me to stay athletic as I am growing older, and for that I cannot thank her enough!!

I was referred to Dr. Weber by my PT. Dr. Weber completely changed my life in a positive way. Last year I could hardly walk up stairs. She diagnosed the problem, thoroughly explained it, and suggested a PRP injection which gave me mobility again without surgery. This year Dr. Weber expertly diagnosed an orthopedic problem and showed me specific exercises, even modeled them for me, to help with my concern. I can't say enough about the high level of respect that I have for Dr. Weber after getting needed help and treatment from her.

It’s been 10 years since I first came to Dr Weber with my multiple injuries. As a nurse, I’ve met and worked with many physicians and she is the best!. I see her on a regular basis and not only is she great at her job, but is a “regular person” ! She’s very down to earth, friendly and relatable, and doesn’t treat you like a number. With every one of my injuries she has either cared for it herself or referred me to great docs in that particular field as required for my care. Of all the docs I’ve seen st RUSH, she and one other have been the only ones to actually make a difference with my situation. Latoya Miller is her physician’s assistant. Same applies to Latoya, she’s amazing at what she does and how she provides care for me. She has a bedside manner like no other. Latoya is extremely knowledgeable and experienced. You cannot go wrong with making an appt with Dr Weber or LaToya!!!! There just aren’t enough stars to give them!

Dr. Weber was incredible! I had been to 2 different ortho doctors and multiple physical therapists before seeing her, none of them could tell me what was wrong with my knee. One ortho said he noticed nothing abnormal on my MRI and the other thought it was Hoffa's syndrome, but not terribly aggravated. It took Dr. Weber only minutes to discover that I had patellar tendinopathy.I knew I wasn't crazy like the other orthos suggested, it felt good to finally have some validation. She answered a multitude of my questions before I even asked them (I had about 20 written down). She was very interested in everything I had to say, as well as very thorough with trying to pin down exactly what I did to cause the injury and what motions caused me pain.I had gone into the visit wanting a PRP injection, as nothing else had worked. She was very persistent with her questioning on previous methods of attempted treatment, PT, cortisone injections, knee brace etc... Because PRP is not on the frontline of knee treatment protocol. She easily could've just given me what I wanted and taken my money for the injection. (which was $750 out of pocket as insurance deems the treatment experimental) Instead, she made sure I was comfortable and had completed all of the prerequisites.I asked her if she would suggest the PRP as the next step in my line of treatment and she said yes. We proceeded onward, she was very comforting, knowledgeable and precise. I could tell I was in great hands and I felt very hopeful about my treatment.After the procedure I bombarded her with even more questions, all of which she was delighted to answer. I must've spent two hours or more with her directly. You can tell she has a passion for finding the causes of a patient's ailments and working with them to fix the situation.I have been dealing with my knee issues for over a year now, and many times I've gotten my hopes up, only to be let down by "experts"claiming to be at the top of their respective fields. As such, I had been left with a very hard to convince attitude and very high standards. Dr. Weber not only met all of my expectations, she exceeded them amazingly. I look forward to seeing her in the future as I rehab my knee, and for any other orthopaedic issues that may arise. Her assistant was amazing as well.My entire experience with Dr. Weber and Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush was incredible and inspiring. Her and her staff deserve the highest of praise!

Dr Weber is the best. She knows what to look for, what your options are and how best to proceed. She has guided me through a couple of major injuries and I recommend her to everyone I know. Brilliant!

I have been treating with Dr Weber for various issues over many years and couldn't be happier with an Orthopedist. She is thorough, cutting edge and thoughtful in her approach to treatment. She has you involved in options and informs you of all details involved with each treatment choice. She knows her stuff and is professional and kind. I highly recommend her if you need an Ortho.

There was no staff member handling her patients. After waiting for a while, I was told by another doctor's staff to sign up, which I did. Then I waited for another ten minutes only to be told that I was supposed to reschedule because they did not think I could fill in the new patient forms in the remaining time! It was still ten minutes before my appointment, and they had wasted my time by not having a staff member at the front desk! I wanted to fill in the forms because I believe I could (I can read 7 pages in ten minutes and can easily fill in 5 pages of forms), but of course, they felt they had a right to judge my capabilities on top of being incompetent and keeping a staff member at the front desk to handle patients in time! Will not go back! There are other competent doctors with better staff and administrators in Chicago! Cannot judge her professional skills since she refused to see me although I was there about half an hour before my appointment! She might be a very good professional but with this kind of a setting and staff, she cannot go far.
