I’m extremely upset I’ve been here since Tuesday with my son and I’ve ordered food from here with me my husband we pay for our food and this is not the first time our order is wrong cold missing something no gravy chicken te feta extremely cold and hard then I call the kitchen and the girl responds by saying well you can return it throw it away I mean if you really want we can send you up a new tray come on why the attitude simply do your job right I’ve spent so much money ey here money I don’t have to spend but we have to eat and for me to get that attitude and on top of it get charged so much one day I had to pay 16 for one tray and 8 for the other when they were both the same thing totally not cool

This place is a joke. Waiting three hours to be called into the back for my child to be seen. Him vomiting. Cold running a fever with the chills. Diarrhea. this place is packed no one’s been called. Lack of help here I see. Came in at 415 and it now 715 nightmare should not need to wait this long ever. Waiting time is out of control. The service might be great once inside but it’s an emergency room for a reason (emergency)

Our son had an appointment at 1:30 we show up at 1 and didnt start until 5:30. My son wasn't allowed to eat or drink anything since 9pm the night before because he was being sedated. Thanks you guys are the best!

This ER is just the worst. They lack urgency and empathy towards the parents and the kids they make sleep off their illnesses. 9hr+ to see a doctor and when you do, It’s like 2-3mins consultation and they back in their cubicle chatting like patients are not needing attention outside. This is the only ER you wait 3hrs+ with complains just to have your child’s vitals checked. Influenza A or B isn’t severe to them so even if you’ve been waiting 3hr+ to be checked, the next patient that comes in at that time gets seen and you’re left wondering if your hours spent means nothing. The checking staff attend to you like you’re ordering food from McDonald’s Clark’s like I don’t wanna verify my personal details so loud..how about a microphone next time 😏

I’ve been here since 8pm and it’s now 4:38AM and still waiting to be seen. I’ve never been nowhere near this long in any emergency room. A mother with her infant in front of me carrying her baby and falling a sleep while she holds her child. Insane!! Worse place to go with a sick child. You have to prepare and stay the night and sleep in their uncomfortable chair with your child. This is ridiculous!! Smh

Such a great hospital with the best doctors!

Avoid Lurie! Shame on their outpatient center in Skokie! We were instructed by our hospital to go to Lurie for an ultrasound test for our newborn son. During our first visit in Oct. 2021, we presented our insurance card but they never disclosed they were out-of-network! The doctor let us make an appointment for Apr. 2022 for another ultrasound test. Our insurance company told us Lurie didn't report the claim of our first visit to them until Feb. 2022, which means that we had no idea they were out-of-network and their unreasonably high charge before our second visit so that they could make money again. Talking about the unreasonably high charge, they ask us to pay more than $2,200 for one ultrasound test, which is on average just about $150 - $750 in Lurie's area (Skokie)! Their billing is totally a scam! We tried to argue with them through phone several times and they were just kicking the ball to different departments. The counter told us to contact the billing department and the billing department said they were only in charge of collecting payments and not to contact them about the issue. They never helped and just wanted to make money. Now they send another mail to urge the payment. We are going to filing a complaint through some legal approach.

Ridiculous wait time for the emergency room. I tried called to check on my kid who’s there with their mom and I can’t get any info on my kid for privacy reasons. And whoever answered the phone, has a rude attitude. Buddy if you don’t like your job quit. You’re in customer service genius

I checked in the hospital today at 2am my son's been throwing up with chest pains and fever, they gave him meds for his fever and told us to wait. We've been waiting for 9 hours. So sad children have to suffer. Never coming back here again. They need to hire more nurses or doctors or add more beds.
