everything at the clinic was excellent—from the reception staff to the nurses and the doctor. Their care was kind and highly professional, and this is my second experience with Kindbody 👍
Checked in this morning absolutely terrified and nervous of my procedure but from the check-in staff to my nurse and all the stuff who did my procedure anesthesiologist, doctor and other staff members of the procedure were just amazing, helped me calm my anxiety and nervousness which was very conforming and within minutes I was out and recovering, everything went so smooth and yes shoutout to my check-in IVF nurse Jordon who answered all my million questions and was the sweetest ❤️😊 Thank you Kindbody
I hate to give anything other than 5 stars because we really appreciated the kind and attentive staff! They definitely deserve 5 stars! But the billing dept should get 1 star. We prepaid the estimated amount that insurance wasn't going to cover (which is mandatory) and then AFTER the procedure they billed us AGAIN. They actually held our embryos hostage until that bill was taken care of. The problem was that they were pretending like we didn't pre-pay them already. When I reminded them we had prepaid (which should be no surpise, given its required), they finally removed the new bill (which never should have existed in the first place). After they did that, I realized we had over-paid when we pre-paid (because their initial estimate was higher than what actually ended up being being charged). "Somehow" they didnt catch this when they were applying those pre-paid funds to the actual bill. I had to initiate a request to get a reimbursement for the amount that we overpaid.. so if I had not caught any of that, they would have kept our initial overpayment AND took our money a second time for the same service!! They had multiple opportunities to catch these errors and they never did (or at least they pretended like they didn't). They never even apologized for the huge error. This is truly alarming!! The scariest part is that they have a section in the chart where you can see previous payments you've made and the copies of bills and what payments went to what bills.. but one day things just started disappearing out of that section. So it's almost impossible to know how much you actually gave them and what it was applied to, unless you are keeping your own meticulous records. There is a $1300 charge/payment missing from that entire section (like it never existed). I had to go back and review my credit card statements to make sure all the numbers and payments all made sense. SO YOU BETTER KEEP YOUR RECORDS STRAIGHT AND TRIPLE CHECK EVERYTHING OR YOU WILL BE SWINDLED OUT OF MONEY!! I honestly wonder how many people haven't double checked these charges and got totally screwed over. If you recieved/paid a bill AFTER your treatment (that you already pre-paid for), you likely got double charged. BEWARE!
We started our surrogacy journey with Vios Fertility - later acquired and transitioned to Kindbody. Although there were some challenges during this transition, we were able to obtain care that we needed. Our fertility specialist, Dr. Alvarez was attentive and we are forever grateful for his help making our dreams come true. If there is area for improvement is communication with support/ancillary staff and with the third party navigators. At times, they were difficult to contact.
Do not see Dr. Alvarez at Kindbody. The worst decision I’ve made in my life. If you were a previous patient of Dr. Jeelani go follow her at her new clinic. She really knows what she is doing. Going with him it’s like going backwards. His medication protocols will not grow any eggs and you might ovulate during stimulation. Being a fertility doctor is definitely not his calling, he should be doing something else with his life. I’m not saying this because I didn’t have a success with him. I stayed at Kindbody because all my things were here already. I’ve worked with both of them and you just can’t even compare the approach they have.
It has been nearly a year since I have been to any Kindbody clinic. They are just recently sending me statements of outstanding balances from visits nearly two years ago. It's zero surprise to me however since every administrative experience from scheduling to authorization was a nightmare while I was a patient there. Why not throw billing into their issue pile? One of the visits is a $900 charge that I just recently starting getting texts for. After more investigation on my end, I realized this is the same charge that they stated over a year ago that they were going to write off. If you call, no one on their billing department can explain or do anything about it. Then they open a "ticket" for someone to just send a message in the portal. It's a joke of a practice and I'm so happy to ALMOST be rid of them!
Just really terrible. They seem great at first but once you start treatment no one there seems to have any idea what's going on. Trying to schedule a meeting with your doctor is a battle. It was like dealing with a call center where they follow a script and they can't go off it.
If seeking IVF run far from this chain. We started here February 2024 while waiting to get into Dr Miller at a different clinic. Stayed for a few months did one egg retrieval, no blasts. Last apt was in May 2024. We just got a call and text for that to be paid.i asked for my medical records the summer of 2024. They changed portals and said they are waiting on IT because they could not access them. I should have access to my medical records. I called like every 2-3 weeks for months, instead because of their incompetence I had to pay to get all those tests done at the new clinic. While waiting for the anesthesiologist to finish getting me prepped at egg retrieval, the doctor was talking about dating life and how he won't date guys he meets at the gym. I felt that was not super professional to be talking about in front of patients. They would not let my husband in the back waiting recovery area, when I requested him to come back as they were giving me discharge instructions and I still feel drugged up. Best part was he came out to see our car got towed (Chicago location). I'm due in a few weeks thanks to Charles Miller. Go see him! Do not give this place a cent! Get ready to also pay a cycle management fee of $500, I was told that is for the doctor to read lab results. I have never in my life had a separate fee on top of lab fee for doctor to read results, no wonder insurance seems to refuse that. Nor did Dr miller's office have these bogus charges
I have been to 3 different fertility clinics (because of insurance reasons) kindbody by far blows everyone out of the water! The rapid communication, im never left unsure of the next step! To the empathy shown from everyone! I truly cant say enough good things about you all! Kindbody restored our hope that was lost this year!
Highly recommend Dr. Jeelani and the Kindbody team! Dr. Jeelani is truly the best—compassionate, supportive, and she thinks outside of the box. After struggling with diminished ovarian reserve and spending two years with another clinic without success, I was referred to Dr. Jeelani. From our very first consultation, I knew this journey would be different. It took us less than a year to get pregnant, and I am so grateful. Dr. Jeelani is not only an excellent physician but also a genuinely kind person who truly cares about her patients. The entire team at Kindbody was incredible—from the nurses to the surgical staff and the other doctors involved in my care. Every interaction was professional, supportive, and positive. I can’t say enough good things. Highly recommend Dr Jeelani and Kindbody!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
