If you choose to go with them, although I would not recommend it since Dr Beltsos left, please be on top of the billing!!! They’ve made countless mistakes and are still harassing me for payments for services done in 2024. I have my baby and am happy, but dealing with some of their nurses and financials was and still is extremely draining and frustrating!

I had an great experince with the phlebotomists, ultrasound technicians, my nurse Madison, and Dr. Jeelani. Unfortunately, the billing is so bad and confusing, it clouded the wonderful care I recieved. My first round was a year ago and I just recieved another astronomical bill for $6,700. I obtained every prior authorization needed for my insurance, and still they are hounding me for money. I have called three time and messaged them on the portal three times. I have asked for my case to be escalated. Instead of responding, I am being ignored by the billing department, yet hounded with robo texts and emails. The amount of frustration and stress this has caused me is unspeakable. I highly recommend using another clinic if you are considering IVF services.

Completed my egg freezing journey with Kindbody and I think the care team is fantastic. The nurses were on top of ordering medications, working with my insurance (mail order prescription pharmacy), calling/explaining medication protocols, and scheduling appointments. The front desk, phlebotomists, and ultrasound techs were so kind making this an enjoyable experience. The nurses on call were also a fantastic resource anytime questions came up. The billing team is a bit more slow to respond, but the other reviews are correct in that you have to stay on top of it yourself. If you don't hear back, try and follow up. You have to be on top of your care. Both times when I did egg freezing I also found it to be impressive that they tell you same day the number of eggs that they were able to freeze. Overall I am grateful I chose Kindbody for my care!

Great customer service scheduling my appointment. And also at my appointment. They explained things so well and I felt in good hands.

Wouldn’t recommend

After my doc of many years left the practice, they completely neglected my care. I went through a loss requiring intense treatment, was never properly followed up by another HCP and now dealing with rare side effects from that treatment. They don’t have me assigned to a HCP as they stated I need to establish care before I can be seen - which the earliest appt was 3+ months out (my choices were a male HCP or an MD who i will never see in person as she works out-of-state). I did see a nurse remotely ~6-8 weeks later who couldn’t answer 1 of my questions and just read notes from my chart out loud to me during the tele-appt. Can’t really recommend a practice that doesn’t perform the absolutely minimum expectation of f/u patient care for a pretty serious matter. Wish I could give KB 0 stars. Stay away.

Would not allow direct appointment without insurance despite willingness to pay out of pocket due to poorly thought out policy.

The receptionists were delightful, but the rest of the experience was kind of a bummer. Came in for genetic testing and sperm analysis. Everyone working there (other than the receptionists) seemed very down in the dumps. Not angry or anything, just sad. No smiles to be found anywhere here. The exam rooms are also just really dim and depressing. Not great energy here. They also sent me a bill weeks after my visit despite me asking them on the way out if there were any other charges. That leaves a pretty sour taste in my mouth. I want this place to succeed, they're offering a pretty important set of services at a (relatively) fair cost, but man...hire some people who don't seem like they want to actively die.

Do not see Dr. Alvarez at Kindbody. The worst decision I’ve made in my life. If you were a previous patient of Dr. Jeelani go follow her at her new clinic. She really knows what she is doing. Going with him it’s like going backwards. His medication protocols will not grow any eggs and you might ovulate during stimulation. Being a fertility doctor is definitely not his calling, he should be doing something else with his life. I’m not saying this because I didn’t have a success with him. I stayed at Kindbody because all my things were here already. I’ve worked with both of them and you just can’t even compare the approach they have.

I deeply regret choosing this company for my fertility journey. I went through multiple egg retrievals and, instead of support, experienced poor staff interactions and ongoing administrative disorganization. Three years later, I’m still receiving unexpected bills blamed on “system updates,” which only underscores how unreliable their record-keeping appears to be. While paying substantial storage fees, I’m left questioning the accuracy of their database. No one should have to worry about whether their eggs and other vital information are being safeuarded properly tracked. If you are considering this clinic, I strongly urge you to thoroughly research other options before committing.
