I have been seeing Dr. Packo for the last 2 years after a severe retina detachment. He was able to restore my vision and I have seen huge improvements from the initial surgery. This can be a very scary process but Dr. Packo and team are the best and make you feel confident that you are in the best care. Everyone I have worked with at Illinois Retina have been wonderful and are extremely helpful!

Dr. Packo and his staff are amazing. Retinal/vision issues are scary to deal with but they are very comforting. They really take the time to listen and explain everything clearly throughout your visit. Shout out to Nurse Lucy for the VIP treatment! But I'm sure she does the same for every patient lucky enough to be in her care. I am confident that I'm getting the best care possible from Dr. Packo and his staff.

The staff and Dr. Packo are one on a million. The receptionist allowed me to use her personal cube to charge my phone. They are so professional but also understand the needs of the patients. Dr. Packo is truly one in a million. There will never be a retinal specialist like him. He prevented me from having a full retinal detachment and did laser surgery right in his office. I would give him 1,000 stars.

I had an issue with my left eye that threatened my vision! Dr. Packo quickly diagnosed my problem and saved my vision. Also, my fathers wife was losing her sight and her Ophthalmologist at the time told her he could no longer help her. I recommended her to Dr. Packo and he saved her vision. The staff at Illinois Retina Associates are very professional and friendly. If your experiencing any issues with your vision, I highly recommend Illinois Retina Associates!👍🏾👍🏾

My experience from start to end was anxiety allaying from a clinical and Emotional perspective. I cannot thank the front desk team, Lucy, Dr. Packo or the technician who performed my fundal pictures and went out of her way to print them for me enough. This was my first visit to Dr. Packo’s team after being in the care of a retinal specialist for over 15 years and I am grateful for the compassionate approach each of you took in caring for me and recognizing that I am a human that has a spouse and family that is leaning on all of you for support. You exceeded expectations. I would be remiss if I didn’t mention that RUMC kept COVID-19 precautions top of mind throughout my visit, while never making it feel sterile. Thank you! Please share this with the team. They deserve the praise and recognition.
