List of Kirsten G Hefele's Reviews
I had a horrible experience with my last doctor, so Dr. Hefele is a breath of fresh air! Extremely kind, intelligent, and very thorough. I feel like I'm in the best hands with Dr. Hefele and her team. I appreciate great medical professionals for something so important- my health. Thank you!
Dr. Hefele is the absolute best doctor. She never, ever lets me down. She is responsive, kind, courteous, caring and most important of all, she solves problems immediately. I cannot praise Dr. Hefele enough. I really cannot imagine seeing anyone else (and I won’t!).
Money Hungry
I have had the honor of being a patient of Doctor Hefele for a long time now.I value her as a terrific person and someone you can trust with your upmost important issues when it comes to healthcare.I refer many people to her because I believe she is a premium in today's world of healthcare professionals. Doctor Hefele has a terrific staff to assist her. The staff makes you feel like you're special when you come in to visit.
I do not recommend Dr. Hefele, because of her shady billing practices. Since my visit on July 8th, 2019, I am battling her billing department for an incorrect claim and it looks like I will have to end up paying it. I called my insurance and they advised me to report her to the Office of Inspector General, which I am planning on doing. I went for a regular annual visit, where she checked me out and scheduled regular lab work. The lab is at her office, so it was very convenient. Just a regular, low key annual visit. Oh boy, was I wrong! The visit was super pleasant and in the end, she asked if I am doing ok and if there is anything I would like to point out on. BIG MISTAKE on my part to answer that question! I mentioned something that I observed recently, nothing major, but just to put in on the radar (puffy ankle and hand, most likely occasional water retention). And that’s when the opportunity came to Dr. Hefele. Instead of submitting a claim to my insurance for the annual visit and annual lab, she used that information to bill my insurance not under the preventive care, but under the diagnostic. My lab bill is over $150 because I mentioned a puffy ankle. And that’s not all! After gazillion of phone calls between my insurance, her office, and the lab, I just learned that I will also be charged for drawing the blood itself because it happened at her office and she can bill for it, and her billing office just submitted another claim on 12/19 for services that happened on 7/8 – six months later! Unbelievable! I haven’t seen that horribly money-hungry medical professional in my life! It was so far the worse experience I had with any medical professional. It's just so disgusting to be so money-oriented and use patients who have insurance and bill as much as possible.I have contacted her office again today, and if I won’t hear from them I will be calling any State Department possible to have her audited. Please stay away from her office, she will bill you for breathing if she only could! What a horrible, horrible experience! This was my first and last visit to her office and I will never recommend her to anyone!

I am so happy finding Dr. Hefele, she didn't send me to the Lab for blood and urine test, I left these samples at her office during my appointment and I will be available to see my personal results in the computer and in my cellphone, she and her staff are great !I saved lot of time !!!
Dr. Hefele is personable but terribly slow at refilling prescriptions. It is taking her over a week to refill. This is unacceptable. Most doctors can refill in a few hours. Also her staff is very rude and not helpful. They will "yes" you but then they do not take any action. They don't deliver messages to Dr. Hefele so as a patient, even if you call and leave a message for Dr. Hefele, her staff may not deliver the message. Terrible if you need urgent care.
Such a wonderful doctor. She truly listens to my concerns and goals. My health has had a major turnaround since seeing her for the last five years. My asthma is the best controlled it's ever been, I lost a lot of weight with her guidance, and my overall well being has been boosted. She truly cares about her patients and helps above and beyond for our needs and health.
I was referred to Dr. Hefele by another physician of mine and I am so thankful for it. Dr. Hefele listens to my feelings and concerns and always makes sure to create comfortable and supportive environment. I truly feel like my well-being is her top priority and I can't put into words how much I appreciate that.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
