Very clear in describing what the problem is. Does not do surgery unless medically necessary. Has a great team behind him! I recommend Dr. Kushal Patel for any sports injury, joint discomfort, or injuries from a fall. Get his opinion!

Dr Patel is great, but not the front desk dealing with insurance. They charged us twice before surgery and then never refunded the money. Stole it. Then “lost” our information and documents.

He is a poor communicator. He would not even tell me he prescribed medications and exercise plans but I would see it in my portal notes weeks after. If I did not ask a question he will be mute the full visit. His office does not respond to messages for weeks. PA is terrible. Find a better doctor with more experience and better office support staff.

He is wonderful

I consider doctor Patal one of the top orthopedic doctors in the nation. The fact that I'm an outdoor guy and already been through a number of sport-related surgeries, I kinda know what it's like to go through one. The surgery that I had with Dr. Patal was one of the best one by far, it was a left knee medial meniscus and chondromalacia patella. Dr. Petal put me back in the track running within a very short period and a totally recovered knee. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Patel did both of my knee surgeries and was very successful. I can now walk upright with no pain and I am able to do a lot of things that I was unable to do before my surgeries. Thumbs Up for Dr. Patel.

Dr. Patel did a great job on my surgery. He performed a right and left carpal tunnel release and a left cubital tunnel release.

I am so glad that I was referred to Dr. Patel. I was so uncomfortable and in constant pain with my right knee. He was kind; gave a very thorough and complete plan to help. Physical therapy was started immediately and I received injections. The entire process was better than I could have ever hoped for. Dr. Patel's kindness, the terrific physical therapists (Samantha and Jessica) and the entire staff did so much to alleviate my fears. Treatment has been such a success!

My daughter’s knee surgery was performed by Dr. Kushal Patel exactly a year ago. We were extremely worried like all parents, but Dr. Patel gave us assurance and confidence that everything will be fine as long as she does her PT sessions and routine visits after her surgery on meniscus and torn ACL. We are very grateful to Dr. Patel and the supporting staff at Orthopedic Specialists of Dallas for the care and affection shown throughout my daughter’s recovery process and getting her back to her normal lifestyle. I went to see Dr. Patel for extreme pain in my right knee. I was scared; he was compassionate. I was terrified; he was calm, patient and alleviated my fears, one by one. Through his care, injections and physical therapy, I have come so far in not only eliminating my pain but increasing my overall mobility. Dr. Patel, as well as physical therapists Samantha and Jessica, are top notch. I owe them so much. I would not consider going anywhere else for care.
