When they pitch you orthotics (and they will), make sure you get a second opinion to be certain you need them before they bully you into paying. They were fully aware I had bunion surgery and 6 toes were fractured and they STILL sold me orthotics saying they were "good practice" to keep my toes from moving. A few weeks later I was in unbearable pain. They were unresponsive to phone, portal messages, and email, they waited until I went back into the office. And then they were all, "Oh yeah, you shouldn't wear orthotics if there was a fracture." But they were "custom-made" so they refused to refund me. It's a scam. Run away as fast as you can. Go somewhere else.

I scheduled an appointment in July online. The office didn't pick up the phone over multiple calls. I spent time and and money on an uber to get to the office only to be told the doctor was out. I asked why they never picked up the phone when I called and was told they were using their other phone that day. Why list only one phone number if you don't use it on certain days? The receptionist also said that they called me regarding the Dr. having to leave, but I never got a call and have no record of it in my call history. I asked her to call the number on file in front of me and the call went through immediately. I've never had any issues with my phone not receiving calls and all other calls from that day show up in my history. I asked the receptionist why she didn't just cancel my zocdoc appt and she said I would have to do it myself. If they used a scheduling system that they had control over, they could have canceled on their end and I would have known not to come. It seems to me that the office really needs to work on its scheduling/cancellation handling.

I have appreciated Dr. Stein's thorough and thoughtful analyses and plans of action. He seems to care about my wellness, which is something that I've found lacking in other podiatrists.

I visited Dr Stein at his office in Weiss Hospital to get my five-year-old orthotics replaced. He spent almost no time with me (relying on medical students instead), took unnecessary x-rays of my feet, and then submitted my insurance claim with the incorrect code, causing them to deny the claim. My insurance gave me the correct code and said he could resubmit it, but he refused, saying I needed to start the whole process over again. I'm honestly amazed that he's seeking to get even more money out of me. I'm now out nearly $1000 and have nothing to show for it. Will never see again.

Scheduled an appointment and when I showed up for it I was told the doctor wouldn’t be in and that they tried to call me but the person who took down my information in their office wrote the wrong phone number. So I took time off work and wasted my time. Poor customer service

Dr. Stein did a great job diagnosing my foot problem and also did a great job on my surgery no more issues. Plus he really cares about his patients
