List of Lifestance Therapists And Psychiatrists Chicago's Reviews
Friendly staff and provider, quiet waiting room. Annabel Punsalan was kind and attentive, explained things well. Scheduling my initial appointment online was easy. Portal could use some work, received a couple of emails re: patient forms but nothing populated & my follow up isn’t showing on there either. Location is nice and finding parking was easy. Bathrooms were clean.
LifeStance saved me after moving to a new city. The booking was super easy and quick when I needed it the most, and I’ve loved working with my therapist.
Even after voicing my concerns and having them completely ignored, NP Calvin Walker prescribed me a medicine that landed me in the hospital. A day after taking it and I'm still having tremors. I was also told by him that "neuropsychological testing has nothing to do with medication" even though I had the report right in front me looking at a section with suggestions for prescribing. Within 10 minutes of talking to him, he abandoned my concerns for my ADHD diagnosis completely, and hit me with a random non-existent depression diagnosis and that he wanted to put me on some kind of anti-depressant cocktail. (Again, even after voicing my concern several times that I do not tolerate antidepressants; I have a short transporter gene for serotonin). Even though he had my GeneSight test results which indicated moderate issues, he prescribed it anyways (all the while I'm voicing my concerns about this medication and being ignored). "I have plenty of patients who take medications that are in the red and they do just fine" was the response I was finally met with. I filled the prescription and took the first dose. Within 2 hours at work, I was vomiting uncontrollably and couldn't keep my balance. It was so bad that my boss sent me home and I had to go to the hospital. The next morning after the hospital, I wake up with tremors. This is my second provider with LifeStance that has failed me. This particular encounter irrevocably diminished my capacity to ever trust another mental health professional again. You reach out for help and what do you get? A trip to the hospital, shaking like an epileptic marionette, vomit on your shoes, and what feels like minor brain damage. Behavioral health clinics stigmatize ADHD and their providers neglect the concerns of people with neurodivergence. I'll just suffer in silence from here on out. Absolutely horrifying experience. My symptoms and quality of life have actually gotten worse since reaching out to these people.
Exelente
Lindsay is great. She was extremely easy to talk to. Made it very comfortable.
Awesome place. Consistent with great openings and the treatment plan has been really effective.
Was able to get an appointment right away, very excited to work with my new therapist. Lindsay was warm, welcoming and I felt comfortable immediately. Looking forward to my progress!
Everything went well! It flowed along at my pace and there were no hiccups.
I called to schedule an appointment for someone who needs to see the doctor ASAP, I explained the situation and receptionist told me that they do take new patients and asked me for insurance information. After I provided the information she told me that they are not in network and can not take us. I said we don’t care about insurance, I never mentioned I would want to go through insurance as I knew majority of those clinics does not take insurance at all, it’s self pay. I said we can pay and I don’t care how much, we just need a help. Receptionist said no, nothing we can do, we won’t take you, bye. Business oriented company, doesn’t care about people.
I’ve had a great experience with LifeStance. My therapist is super helpful and has immensely improved my life!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
