List of Lincoln Foot And Ankle Center's Reviews
Wow. Just WOW. Yesterday, I had my second-ever appointment at Lincoln Foot & Ankle Center. I was not expecting to be back for several weeks because a in recent phone conversation with Dr. Lagdaan, she said there were no available appointments (on my preferred day) in the foreseeable future, or at least not until mid- to late-February. But while driving yesterday morning to a business meeting, I fielded a phone-call from Dr. Hoffman, who said she can see me that very same day in the afternoon. (She later told me during my appointment that she took-on two more patient appointments (myself being one of them) well after her normal Friday-hours of being at LF&AC. Not only did she find time to squeeze me in on my preferred (and only) day of the week, but she essentially stayed after-hours to accommodate me! Wow! And of course, she took care of the increasing and excruciating pain in my left pinky-toe that became recurrent within the past few weeks or so, I left the LF&AC as good as new: pain-free, and feeling like my old self, again. I'm so grateful for Dr. Lagdaan being mindful of my preferred (and only) day that I could possibly show-up to LF&AC, and for Dr. Hoffman's continued expertise and warmth. Whoever needs attention to their foot problems must visit Lincoln Foot & Ankle Center. I'm sure Dr. Lagdaan is terrific, but because my only treatment has been with Dr. Hoffman (twice, thus far), I really appreciate her, immensely. Thank you to all the staff at Lincoln Foot & Ankle Center, and especially to Dr. Heidi Hoffman, who is an absolute expert with all things related to legs and feet, and such a friendly, personable and upstanding professional podiatrist. You are my go-to podiatrist forever, and I love you so much!!!
I recently visited Lincoln Foot & Ankle Center in Chicago for a painful ingrown toenail and had an excellent experience from start to finish. Dr. Heidi Hoffmann and the entire team were professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring. Dr. Hoffmann took the time to thoroughly examine my foot, explain what caused the ingrown toenail, and walk me through the treatment options in a clear and reassuring way. The ingrown toenail procedure was quick, efficient, and far more comfortable than I expected. Dr. Hoffmann’s skill and attention to detail made a noticeable difference, and the aftercare instructions were easy to follow and helped my toe heal quickly without complications. I also appreciated the education provided on proper nail trimming, footwear, and prevention to avoid future ingrown toenails. The staff at Lincoln Foot & Ankle Center were friendly, organized, and welcoming throughout the entire visit. From scheduling to check out, everything was smooth and patient focused. If you are in Chicago and searching for expert podiatry care or ingrown toenail treatment, I highly recommend Dr. Heidi Hoffmann and the team at Lincoln Foot & Ankle Center. Their experience, compassion, and high level of care truly deserve five stars.
I'm so happy that I came across Lincoln Foot and Ankle Center when I was experiencing toe pain. Dr. Heidi Hoffman is amazing! I searched throughout my insurance network and this was the one podiatrist office that didn't complicate getting an appointment. I was able to get an appointment with only a short wait time. The office is located in a convenient location, it's right off Lincoln Ave and a block off Damen. There is a train stop, Irving Park, not to far from the office and several buses run near the office. It was easy to get to the office. During my visit I was paired with Dr. Heidi Hoffman, she is amazing! I arrived a few minutes before they opened and Dr. Heidi Hoffman allowed me to come in so I didn't have to wait outside. She was friendly and very educational. As I mentioned above, I came into the office for toe pain that was making it hard to use shoes. She listened to my issue and quickly noticed what could be causing the pain. She was able to give me a instant short-term pain relief and gathered whatever was needed for additional tests. She was also able to help me understand more things about my foot. After the appointment, I was updated roughly a week later about the results of the test and given instructions on how to deal with the continuous toe trauma that she discovered. It's been a few months and my toe barely aches when I put on shoes. I can press on the toe that had the issue and it doesn't hurt. It was the complete opposite a few short months ago. I would highly recommend coming to Lincoln Foot and Ankle Center for all of your needs.
I have been searching for talented and experienced podiatrists in Chicago for my husband and me. I believe I have found the practice. Lincoln Foot and Ankle Center is special. The office itself is comfortable, clean and practical. The receptionist is lovely and tries in every way to be helpful and supportive. She is a gem with clients. The two doctors.. Dr. Lagdaan and Dr. Hoffmann are outstanding professionals. Either doctor is worth your time and can be trusted with your precious feet. A true find. Finally!!
I have terrible foot pain during my maternity leave. I saw a foot doctor who had me in and out in 15 minutes, gave me no care plan or follow up steps. Then a few days later called to say he ran my insurance and xyz is what would be covered for custom orthotics and asked when could I come in for measurements. It felt shady so I decided to go somewhere else. Then I went to Dr. Hoffman. She spent a lot of time with me. She took x-rays and went over them with me. We talked about my foot shape and what I should be looking for in a shoe. She recommended going to Fleet Feet for a (free) foot measurement and shoe consultation. She then made a conservative plan of treatment (better shoes, stretches, PT) that could be elevated to custom orthotics if this doesn't work. She diagnosed a nerve issue that can only really be treated by PT/form change while exercising (aka not orthotics). She was encouraging of PT ASAP because as I've had a baby this year...I've already hit my insurance out of pocket max. It's a small thing but just made me feel confident that she was looking out for my best interests. She also gave me personal anecdotes about her own experience with plantar fasciitis as it related to my own case that made me feel hopeful and like I won't be in pain forever. I really value feeling "cared for" by the medical professionals I see, and this is what I got from Dr. Hoffman.
Within 24 hours of performing a simple Google search for podiatrists in my neighborhood and discovering Lincoln Foot & Ankle, I had my first appointment earlier, today. According to Katarina the Receptionist, there were originally no more available appointments for today, but Dr. Heidi Hoffmann was able to accommodate me by offering to see me during her 1-hour lunchbreak. Wow! Not only was I impressed by this kind gesture which otherwise would have led to me waiting several more days (or even weeks) before I could be examined at LF&AC, I was surprised that I regained a long-lost spring to my step at the end of my visit which lasted less than 20 minutes. After living with a benign yet very painful skin lesion at the base of my left pinky toe for about the past three or four months (and still grinding through my running workouts despite the intolerable pain), Dr. Hoffmann cut-away the bulbous skin. To my surprise, upon putting on my shoes again to leave her patient room, whatever pain I had felt, before, had disappeared. I came into my appointment thinking I may need some kind of surgery for what I believed to be a bunion, but left Lincoln Foot and Ankle Center no longer dreading any pain with each step. Dr. Hoffmann articulates superbly, and is happy to educate you about your condition and treatment. I'm so glad I discovered this terrific establishment. The receptionist Katarina is friendly and proactive, and I'm certain Dr. Kaye Lagdaan is an amazing practitioner, as she is the founder of LF&AC. But my goodness, I don't think there is anything Dr. Heidi Hoffmann cannot do as a podiatrist. She performed a miracle on me, today, and I cannot thank her enough! She is so knowledgeable, caring, personable, and friendly. If you or someone you know needs help with their feet and/or ankle ailments, look no further than the team at Lincoln Foot and Ankle Center. They maintain a clean environment, and you can feel the genuine warmth that they all exude.
Dr. Hoffmann is so wonderful! Super friendly, intelligent, warm, and intuitive. She does an excellent job explaining everything, answering questions, making recommendations, and does not rush through the appointment. She was integral in helping me get diagnosed quickly with psoriatic arthritis 4 years ago, which I’ve heard from other docs can be a long process. So thankful I saw her when I did. I just wish she was a PCP so I could go to her for everything!
I took my daughter years ago to this office because her foot seemed to be going inward. The only thing and only because I asked was a very hard half insole that my daughter never used as was hurting her feet. I should have taken my daughter somewhere else back then because now the problem is bigger and this Dr did not diagnose correctly nor recommended anything appropriate. The blond Dr. was polite but barely did an examination, the Asian Dr. was kind of in a bad mood.
This practice is excellent! Really appreciate the level of patient care and support they provide. Would highly recommend
Dr Hoffman was wonderful with my kid whose foot was sensitive and painful. Dr Hoffman took her time, listened, kept checking in about comfort and explained the best course of treatment and why. It was such a wonderful experience that both my husband and I each went for nagging foot and ankle issues that we have been dealing with for months. All of us have had wonderful care and wish more doctors were as attentive as Dr Hoffman.
